I've recently become very curious about game development and moding in minecraft. I'm wondering if anyone would recommend MCreator to make an RPG type game inside Minecraft. I know there are mods already for this, but I'm looking for a way to give my own NPCs dialogue and to manipulate their trading system. Any feedback is appreciated!

i used it fine. so yea its good
No, I can't even use it since it isn't compatable with Chromebook. :(
I use it and create some pretty good mods with it, so I think I would say a yes to that.
It doesnt make you code so basically you are limited to mcreator's functions but if you code yourself the limit is your imagination
YES IF U DONT WANT TO MANUALY USE ECLIPSE OR VISUAL STUDIO
Yes! I reccomend it if you arent good with coding and is a good and easy way to make mods. It's a little complicanted at first and there are some limits, but its easy to get use to. I have made a few mods with it, heres one for refernce if you want to check it out. For a quick warning though, you will have to download a plugin to be able to make fabric mods and spigot server plugins (but they are easy to get and to activate and are free) and also do not support 1.18 minecraft yet, but in the newest version of MCreater you can make 1.16 and 1.17 mods. There are 5 things you can make with it forge mods, fabric mods, spigot server plugins, datapacks, and addons.
To sum it up: I recommend it, but it has a few limits.

Thank you so much. I didn't realize there were different types of mods and server plugins
