Vertical Slabs

Hello, i've been working on a mod to add desperately wanted features, but in trying to add vertical half slabs i hit a problem. Is there a way to modify EXISTING slabs? I on the google's but couldn't find any documentation. Does anyone know how? It's pretty important for me

I'm not sure if you can modify slabs to make them vertical. But in ForgeMicroblocks, for example, they are completely custom rendered as new blocks, etc. See: https://github.com/Chicken-Bones/ForgeMultipart, for the source code. Note that it is written in Scala and not in the default Java, so it may be harder to understand.
It is possible, it has been done before. I'm just not sure how though. (See ForgeMicroblocks).

JavaScript probably won't help, seeing as Minecraft uses Java, which is pretty different
Try asking a developer. I've never tried code, so I can't say I can help you. Maybe... try more Javascript learning and try to fool with it? Sorry I couldn't be of any help myself. :c
