Eurandul:
Click to reveal
The ruins of NewHome served a very crucial role in the upbringing of the nation Eurandul, a proud and noble nation that fights for the protection of the realm. Based off of the ideas of their leader René, the nation of Eurandul prides itself on the preservation of the world, through any means necessary. René was raised in a small village off of the coast of the infamous Rift, his family lived in poverty and he was victim of totalitarianism, the militia in the neighbouring village had expanded over into René’s village, executing the residing mayor. The military dictator enforced marshal law, and enlisted children over the age of ten into his personal army. René’s parents fought the government oppressive behaviours, however all appeared unsuccessful, as the days dwindle into dust, René’s eleventh’s birthday was upon the horizon, and soon he would be conscripted into the military against his will. As his birthday grew nearer and nearer, René’s parents hail married a final attempt into salvation, they armed themselves with household weaponry and tried to assassinate the dictator during a speech within the borders of their village. As the knives driven by the sheer force of rebellion came inches away from the dictator’s jugular, it came to a halt as the blade of a solder glided across the chest of René’s father’s chest. The cut drew tons of blood, the agony of it all made René’s father collapse to the ground, where he would later bleed out in a pool of his own blood. René’s mother was captured by the solder and imprisoned in the dictator’s household where she would serve him and cater to his will. The militia seized the house and sold it off to a group of solders, it would later be burnt to the ground thanks to the ignorance of the solders. René was shipped off to the coal mines due to his frailness and his unwillingness to follow orders.

It was a cold winter day, the coal mines were getting dry and soon the coal miners would either be executed or sent off to the military as cabin boys. René was hard at work, he saw hope in the mines as strange as it may sound. René used the antidote that when a coal is mined, it is dark and mysterious yet when brought to the surface its true form arises into the burning fire of mankind. He used this antidote to preserve what little hope he had for mankind and would sometime smuggle coal into his cabin where he would label them names of former families that he knew who had been killed during the military coup. One night, René heard screaming across the town, and could smell the flames of the households off in the distance. He rushed outside his cabin and noticed that a few drunken solders had lit a barn on fire, the animal’s cries were heart wrenching, René began to rush towards the farm house, when all of a sudden the dictator grabbed him by the hair and hulled him back into the dictator’s house. René was thrown into a cage with an older woman. The dictator growled
“And where the hell did you think you were going you little runt”
René remained silent and stared into the dark eyes of the dictator. The dictator was a bulky man, who wore a sharp uniform that matched his emotional presence, a monster deep within that would have been released had it not been for the military coop. The dictator had a dark pass, without the help of the military; the alternate future of the small establishment would have been much grimmer.
The dictator grunted and left the room, René was not worried, for there were no times for emotions in this dark and scary time within the confinements of childhood. The old women offered René some stale bread, René was hesitant yet he could not deny food, because the coal miners were on a strict diet of mushroom soup. The rations given were meant to last a few hours, yet they would only receive rations once every week. While René ate the bread, the old women smiled and told him

“Children are the only hope for our future, which is why I need your help young René, go to the ruins of NewHome, there all of our hope resides in the relics of the past”
René was shocked that a stranger would know his name. He backed up into the steel bars and told the strange lady to stay back, however she crept up beside him and gave him a hug;
“ Do not worry René, your mother will always love you no matter what you think happened on that night, we must look past our differences and make our way to the ruins of NewHome” The old lady whispered
René’s eyes filled with tears, the old lady must have known his mother, and maybe she could have all the answers to his problems. However, a loud knocking had befallen the ears of René, the dictator yelled

“What the hell is going on you two; I am coming in and if I see anything suspicious both of you will feel my wrath.”
René and the old woman separated and went into the opposite side of the cage in order to maintain that awkward tranquility that would appease the dictator’s room. When the dictator entered the room, he had a crooked grin on his sly face, and he spoke in a calm voice;
“Now was that so hard? We have peace within this household, now why can’t it be like this elsewhere? My great grandfather envisioned a world ruled under a single man, and I plan on serving his cause, just as my father did long ago. The Wiggles clan will not be undermined by such idiotic beliefs such as democracy and freedom, the only freedom you can have is of which is given to you by the higher power, as such I find it necessary that I must conquer all of Eurasia in order to prevent the plague of stupidity from spreading, do you understand young boy?”
René made no eye contact the dictator; René despised such cowardly men who would deprive another of his or her freedoms. The dictator grunted;
“I see it will take a bit more of convincing on my end of the leash to make you change your ways boy, your weakness is forgiven for your kind is not as naturally gifted as mine. Tomorrow you will serve me the whole day, in order to fully understand the concept of my nation”
The dictator left the room, René knew that now would be the time to escape, he noticed that the bars were not as narrow as they had appeared to be from before; he took off his clothes and squeezed through the bar, and ran for the door, when he was stopped by the old lady.
“Follow my advice child, do not succumb to the temptation that is power, and serve the better good when you are older, you must persevere in order to triumph against men such as the dictator who seeks the greatest evil in the world. Head my warning though; there will be inexplicable bloodshed along the way, that of which you cannot prevent, however do not let the brave souls who served under your name die in vain, lead the world into a new age, an age of acceptance and love. Go now child, follow your destiny as I have served mine”

René ran to his old household and slept out in the old barn. In the morning, he set out to find the ruins of NewHome. René made it to the town wall, and snuck past the grizzly guards, he ran past the mountains, all the way to a small village. He was exhausted from his long journey and took rest in a small local inn, inhabited by local elves. They stared at him thoroughly; eventually one of the younger elves walked up to René and asked him;
“Aren’t you a bit young to be travelling the roads by yourself little guy?”
René grinned and said
“You are never too young to realise your true calling”
The elf looked at him for a while, and then finally spoke;
“Listen little boy, you can’t be roaming around without help, so my brothers and I will escort you to where ever you need to get to, alright?”
René accepted the elf’s offer and the following morning they headed towards the ruins of NewHome, the elf told the story of NewHome;
“Well I myself wouldn’t want to go to NewHome, place is full of bad omens. The story goes like this; long ago back when Dictator Wiggles was alive, there were constant wars between NewHome and Wiggles’ army. Eventually, Wiggles managed to sneak in the walls at night and executed some of the leaders such as Uber the Orc and Bay, the hero of NewHome. The city was defenceless to the Wiggles’ Army, and it burnt to the ground after three days of war. Some of the citizens managed to escape Wiggles’ tyranny, however most were caught by solders and were enchained, doomed to serve Wiggles for all eternity up until their last breath. After a few years, the city was all but a ghost town, self-appointed Emperor Wiggles foretold of a plan that would exterminate all of the weak in the world, his son Alfred Wiggles took charge after his father became ill. Alfred would lead a war path for decades until his hunger for death was satisfied, after he had claimed many villages as his own, he stepped down as Emperor and appointed his son, Wiggles Jr. to be the leader of the Wiggles household. Since that time, many villages have fallen victim of the Wiggles’ Legacy and are now in eternal damnation because of what Emperor Wiggles did all those years ago.”
René was now even more confused than when he had been when the old lady told him to find the Ruins of NewHome. After a week of marching, René and the group of elves managed to find tiny scraps of wood floating in an ocean. One of the logs had a message engraved on it “Bulletin Board for NewHome”, René was confused, and how could the town be gone just like that? René inspected the area, only to come up with the hypothesis that the town had been engulfed by the ocean’s tides and was no longer the prideful settlement it once had been. René sat perched over the water, staring blankly into the water wondering what purpose he had, now that his promised city was destroyed. After a short time, the elves tried to comfort René, and that is when it hit René, he would reconstruct NewHome and create a nation that could uphold the philosophy that the better good will always be triumphant.
The construction started immediately, René explained how the walls would tower over all so that people wouldn’t have to worry about invasions or other nuisances that would disrupt the peace. After a few years, more and more refugees started to settle in the new city of Eurandul and it became a prosperous city of which no man could argue. On a summer eve, Dictator Wiggles Jr. and a battalion of solders walked up to the front gate of Eurandul and demanded immediate surrender, Eurandul retaliated and sent out hundreds of armed guards and a battle quickly exploded out of the resilience of the noble René. Wiggles Jr. suffered a suitable fate, his hands were severed from his arms and he fell helplessly into the cold water. Eventually both forces suffered many causalities, and the commanding officer of the Wiggles’ Army ordered a full on retreat. René knew that this would be an opportune time to strike at the Wiggles forces; he ordered all of his men to attack Wiggles’ Settlements in order to liberate them from their oppressive governments. After a year of liberating, the Wiggles’ empire was demolished and all the land of which it owned became Eurandul’s territory. The Eurandul Nation prides itself on honor and the better good through any means necessary so now that the renegades known as the Na’Lik nation is trying to convert everything good into something evil, it is up to Eurandul to seize the helm and prevent such an outcry of fear and oppression from arising once more. Will you join the Eurandul forces and end the tyranny once and for all?

Na'Lik:

Raised out of the blood boiled feud of the Orcish bandits and the city of Na'lik , the city of Na’Lik is a symbol for power and freedom. The founder of the city, Durak’Cah, led a life of supremacy and control. Durak’Cah had no childhood; his father was a ruthless general in the local Militia. His parents never showed the young orc any compassion or love, which made Durak’Cah bitter as an adolescent. At the age of 16, Durak’Cah left the Orcish village to pursue absolute power, he joined many different armies however he found every soldier to be a disgrace to the term power. Eventually Durak’Cah found his true calling. When he turned 21 years old, he was given an order to raid a small village off the coast of Saint Durand. Durak’Cah was hesitant at first, but once he got his first taste for the blood of an innocent, there was no turning back for Durak’Cah. Durak’Cah abandoned the military and ventured off looking for easy villages to raid. After a year of raiding a village, Durak’Cah was ready to raid an overpopulated village filled with Lords and Madams. Durak’Cah went into the city walls during the night. The shadows provided Durak’Cah with enough coverage to sneak into the village; he managed to sneak into the cathedral and massacred the priest and the followers. Durak’Cah heard a loud banging at the door.

Eterna:
Click to reveal
Worshipping the ways of Da’Livis is the way life progresses in the nation of Eterna, for such a small nation its members show that actions speak louder than words. Raised in the battle worn city of Na’Lik, the elven Da’Livis’ family were high nobles in the ranks of the Na’Lik, on normal occasions; Durak’Cah himself would share a meal or two with the Livis clan. Da’Livis’ father, Mika Livis sworn allegiance with Durak’Cah during a battle against the Yushita nation, since that time the Livis family has had a great deal of interactions with other high lords and nobles. Da’Livis learned at an early age that power and decisiveness were the most crucial component of a nation, without the two, any great nation would never amount to anything. Da’Livis was shipped off to an academy at a young age, and trained to become a general in the Na’Lik military. Da’Livis preferred to negotiate terms with his fellow students, rather than rough them up to get what he wanted. The headmaster frowned on such crude behaviour, and Da’Livis would spend many hours in the furnace room, feeding the metal beast with coal. During these hours, Da’Livis would reflect on vast amount of issues in the realm. He eventually decided that the teachings of Na’Lik were false and unwise, at the age of 14, he ran away from the academy in order to pursue the philosophical teachings of Yushita.

Upon arrival Da’Livis entered a small school for philosophy where he practiced pacifism and came up with a great deal of solutions for the war. One evening, Da’Livis was instructed to bring a meal to one of the high lords in the main residential city of Yushita. He travelled for three days, and when he arrived to the mansion, he heard a loud scream coming from within the walls of the building. Fearful for the individual inside, he peaked in the window to see one of the most disturbing images a child should never witness, the high lord was on top of a young maid who was no more than nine years old, the child was screaming for help, but the lord persisted into raping the young girl. Defenceless, the young girl passed out from the sheer pain of the beatings. Da’Livis entered the home, and threw the High Lord off of the young girl, and carried her motionless body to a nearby cave, where he attempted to resurrect the unconscious child. She awoke after a few hours, terrified and shaking from the traumatizing event. Da’Livis hugged the girl and comfort her, trying to preserve what little innocent remained the in the child.
The girl cried for almost a week, what seemed like an eternity had finally stopped. Da’Livis befriended the young girl, and brought her back to the city of Yushita. When he arrived, the guards arrested him and the girl for treason against a noble. Da’Livis outraged at such hypocrisy, tried to speak up for his rights, but was denied. Who would believe a peasant’s word against a high lord? Da’Livis shared a prison cell with the girl, and promised to her that he would help her to escape this nightmare. One night, he managed to dig a hole behind a bed, and crawled through it. Once he made it through the sewers, he and the girl ran far from the city of Yushita. They returned to the small cave that Da’Livis used to heal the girl; they set up camp for the night and plotted to start a revolution within the walls of Yushita.

Da’Livis snuck into the city incognito mode and started to spread the word of the corruption through the ears of the citizens. A few started to follow Da’Livis, about two thousand followers marched up into the castle of the High King and demanded justice where none could be found. The High King ordered his guards to arrest all of the walkers, as Da’Livis ordered the retreat of all his followers, as most of them escaped the city they ran for the hills where they would erect a city that would seek the way of pacifism. It took twelve months, eighteen days and three hours to create a city that would harbor all who searched for the teachings of Da’Livis. Eventually, word of the city went to the nation of Na’Lik and many citizens became interested in the idea of peace. The once loyal civilians of the two main nations migrated over into the city with no name, and began to call that place their home. Renovations and innovations of the city were always in the works; Da’Livis grew proud of his city. The girl that he rescued lived in his house with him; she never told him her name, so he decided to call her “Hope”. The city would live in prosperity for thirteen years, the population grew steadily and the economy was always generous to the people of the city. The citizens grew tiresome of the fact that their city did not have a name, eventually some started to question the competence of Da’Livis to manage a city.

One night in the early blossom of spring, the citizens formed a mob in front of Da’Livis’ mansion, as they prepared to burn down the door, a powerful breeze blew the fire out from the torches, the citizens stood in shock and awe as the town began to fill with Lilies, Da’Livis entered the scene with an impression of wisdom and spoke the words that would change his city for an eternity:
“This is a sign of our prudence, the once powerful gods of the old times have bestowed upon our city an answer, we will be henceforth known as the nation of Eterna, and we will continue to live in a state of pacifism in order to please the gods!”
And from that moment forward, the nation of Eterna grew in size and strength, their dominion would spread far and wide, and everywhere they went they spread the word of peace.
Hope began to show signs of affection towards Da’Livis, one night she crawled into bed with Da’livis and began to hold him tight, as he had once done for her all those years ago. As the two spent the night together in Da’Livs’ dorm, they experienced love for the very first time in their life. When the sun came over the horizon, the two awoke in each other’s arms, Da’Livis wished to preserve this moment forever, and he knew that one day the two nations would rage an ultimatum war that would decide the fate of Eterna. Da’Lavis decided to put forth an effort to avoid such a catastrophic event that would end life as they knew it. He ventured into his homeland to confront Durak’Cah about a peace treaty to stop the war, the city of Na’Lik was ever so beautiful, Da’Lavis knew that talking about Durak’Cah would be futile, but he knew that without trying, one would never know if the war could be averted. As Da’Lavis approached Durak’Cah, Durak’Cah grinned and welcomed his former noble with open arms. They sat down and drank some tea, and enjoyed the pleasantries of being rich. Then Da’Lavis spoke up to Durak’Cah:
“Old friend, can we not look past our differences with the Yushita and look to preserve our environment for future generations?”
Durak’Cah’s facial expression quickly changed from pleasant to absolute disgust:
“You dare come here and talk about peace? Your father is rolling in his grave just thinking about what a coward his son has become, you are a disgrace to our teachings and shall be punished for being such a disgusting excuse for a noble”
Durak’Cah lifted Da’Lavis by his throat and strangled the great leader with his gigantic hands, as the life left the body of Da’Lavis, Durak’Cah tore his torso in half and hung the lower half up on his fireplace, and he had his troops carry the remains over to Eterna.

Hope’s eyes filled with tears as the love of her life returned, but not in the form of which she last saw him. As the months past, she noticed that she was getting sicker and sicker, she went to Eterna’s clinic to be examined, and it was revealed that she was impregnated with the child of Da’Livis. Hope knew that this child would be the heir to Eterna and that the child’s father would watch over both it and the mother over the chaos that awaits them in the distant future. As the nation of Eterna mourned the death of their elven leader Da’Lavis, they wished to preserve his teachings by not retaliating against Durak’Cah and the nation of Na’Lik. The quote on Da’Lavis’ tombstone reads as follow:
“Do not mourn over my passing, for my passing is but a natural inevitable end of life, an inexplicable curse that we mortals must face when the time deems it so. We do not pose transgression onto our enemies, for we shall preserve ourselves in everlasting pacifism, and their own ignorance will undoubtedly be their own demise”
The city of Eterna relies on the gods in order to ensure their survival; will you choose the path of enlightenment rather than the path of total destruction?
