Dude, you don't need MCEdit to set range, use @p [r=5] or change the 5 to the block distance. And I can help, I'm getting really good at scoreboard, Just skype me: jonathannargi

Look on Youtube, pretty much everyone does their own version of a shop in Minecraft

But if you need a completely new design, I'd be glad to help if I could go on a server. I am a scoreboard wizard and such.

I am great with MCedit and command blocks, and am almost as good as SethBling when it comes to redstone. The only thing is the scoreboard. Not really too sure how that works yet but getting better. If you need help still, pm me.

command blocks aren't easy and i don't even have the basic knowledge, so sorry bout that :/

You would first need to create a scoreboard objective for the points then for the shop make a command block remove a certain amount of points and connect a comparator to the command block. Make the comparator go to the circuit giving the player the item there buying.
