Welcome to the McMonarch Hybrid Network server! We are a family/player friendly community server, featuring Towny, Freebuild, Quake and Spleef, with an added adventure spawn with hidden prizes!
We started up in 2011 as a survival server, with a small player base. Over time, the server grew and the a community formed, which we still hold today. In November 2012, the Towny plugin was added, to give players an extra challenge and an added thing to do on the server, which we still have today, and is used on a day to day basis by players.
In August 2014, the server changed hands, and the old owner departed from the server leaving Me as the owner. Since this time, we have seen lots of improvements to the server, including excellent hardware and cool new features, keeping the server dynamic and interesting to the community. We hope that you will join us to see us into our Fourth year of being open!
Our Freebuild / Towny server is the longest running and most popular server. With lots of great features and plenty to do, this is most definitely the "place to be" on Monarch!
-Freebuild-
Our freebuild worlds are where most players choose to set up a base, create shops, construct awesome builds and generally reside. This world offers protection for players builds with our Worldguard and Protection Stones, without the plot limitations that you get in the towny world.
Build bases, start up your own business or create amazing buildings, the limitations in this world are really endless.
-Towny-
Towny is a plugin that allows our users to create and build their own town. You can invite your friends to join you, recruit residents and watch your town develop and expand in front of you.
You can join a nation to get bonus chunks for your town, and create bigger and better builds, turning a once small village into a vast metropolis.
Alternatively, you can join a town, and become a part of a smaller community within the community, building alongside others and meeting new people along the way!
-Resource Worlds-
Our Nether and Resource worlds are reset monthly, allowing users to have a place to explore and gather resources from, without having to worry about defacing the regular building worlds, or draining the worlds completely of all resources.
-Connect Four-
In one of our main spawn buildings, we have the "Connect Four" Minigame! This is an added extra to our adventure spawn, and can be accessed by typing /warp c4, or taking the right hand path out of spawn, and entering the first building to your right!

The quake server is one of the two small "Minigame" servers that we have, connected to our Freebuild server. We have featured quake before in the past, and the community seemed to really enjoy it, so during our recent server "Revamp" we decided brining it back would be a good option to make the players happy.
For those who are unfamiliar with what Quake is, and would like to see an example, come check us our, or watch this YouTube video, and learn more!
You can access this server by logging onto our Freebuild server and typing /server Quake, or locating our Portal hub (take the right path from spawn, first building in front of you) and jumping in the "Quake" portal!
The spleef server is the other of the two Minigame serveers that we have on our Hybrid network. This is not the first time that this plugin has been on Monarch, and it was a huge success last time, so we hope that bringing it back will be a bonus for old and new players alike!
If you are unfamiliar with what Spleef is, or you'd like to see an example, come check out the server, or see this video for reference!
You can access this server, much like Quake, but logging onto our Freebuild server and typing /server Spleef, or you can locate our portal hub at spawn (take the right path from spawn, first building in front of you) and jumping into the "Spleef" portal!
Monarch is a server that boasts a very friendly and accepting community. Nearly all of our players are extremely helpful and friendly, and starting up on the server is very easy because of this.
We nearly always have a member of staff online in all timezones, who can help deal with any griefs, issues or questions you have on the server!
We are not only a Minecraft community, but an Enjin and teamspeak community too! We have active forums, allowing our player to discuss anything on the server, or irrelevant things, such as forum games, Music, other games and much more!
The server has a Dynamic Map connected to it that can be found under the "DynMap" section on the website navigation bar! Use this to view your builds from a birds eye view, and check out other areas on the server without having to go to them! The uses for this are endless!

McMonarch is the best server I've ever played on it has the most amazing community and the greatest of staff. When your tired and just want to play some simple semi-vanilla then this is this server you want to play on. Overall if it was an out of 5-star system the only number you could give it was 6 It is absolutely the best server.

I joined this server 3 years ago, having no prior experience with multiplayer in minecraft.
I was welcomed by a host of players, all keen on helping me get to where I needed to be. I joined a town, got kitted up and was on my way to world domination. Towny is the biggest aspect of this server by far, with a range of beautifully pieced together towns and communities, you won't feel left out on anything.
The server has changed over the years. We have had a couple of youtubers visit, including Element Animation and the Minecraft high team join us in our endeavours and events; and it was a pleasure to host them here. It's not as popular as it used to be. A triple tab comes once in a blue moon, but the low amount of players playing really makes the server feel more casual and not overcrowded; Which brings me on to my next point, the player base.
The players on Monarch are probably the nicest, funniest, and smartest people I have ever played with in a video game. It's easy to make friends here, and you will feel like you are involved in the lovely community that surrounds Monarch. The players, moderators and admins are a pleasure to play with, patient, and will gladly help you on your way if you are stuck.
Events happen every so often, like huge drop parties and PvP tournaments. They are great fun to participate in, and you get some sweet loot if you win as well! (There is a boat PvP event in the works as I type this up! )
Please, take the time to visit us on the server!

MCMonarch is a great server with a very fun community. If you are looking for a server, choose MCMonarch, it is a very nice place to chill, and plenty of new friend oppurtunities. There is also a wide range of players, from redstone nuts, pvp lovers, and maniac builders. Overall, MCMonarch is a great place to start new, and you won't regret it. 10/10
A new PvP event is being hosted by Danny and Nessie and will be great fun. Its all fair, and all based on skill. All with have the same armour and weapons.

This server is amazing i have been playing for no more than 6 months and this server has kept me going. I would highly recommend it to anyone it suits all people, it has mini-games, a pvp arena, economy and towny! But the best in my opinion is the freebuild server, it has a great community and awesome staff always engaged to help. 10/10, 4/4 , 5/5 amazing!
Had a drop party hosted by Row over the weekend, was great fun, loads of good drops with plenty more events upcoming for August. Perfect time to join an awesome server!

With both staff and player run events, such as drop parties and team challenges, the community is alive with excitement and entertainment. The staff team, of which I am part, is friendly, fair, and helpful.

This is a great server, I joined nearly 3 years ago (Exactly 3 years next week ) and still playing today.
The staff are helpful and you are able to have a joke and play around with them, The players are kind and fun to talk to, Great updates being constantly added to the server not to mention the addition of Quake and spleef (Which I enjoy very much). There's a bunch of towns available if you're the towny type of person, or just chill and create a shop to earn some moneys.

Fantastic server, I've been here since 2013 and they've kept me active and excited with new stuff every time.
What I find most amazing is - I can talk to people in Quake and Spleef! That's always bugged me when I couldn't, but it feels cool that I can communicate cross server with people while they are in Quake, and I'm spleefing it up or building a majestic temple. I have to agree that the uses of DynMap are endless - it's very useful for finding a biome that you would like to build up, and as thus your able to travel there to start a new adventure or build.
I highly recommend this server to all who enjoy fun. :3

McMonarch is an awesome server with a great community. Tons of new thing's have just been added to the server, that have just made it a lot more fun! If you like a good challenge, check the adventure map at the server spawn, and the new mini game's Quake and Spleef, both are awesome. You can also join one of the many town's in the Towny World, or start your own! Not a town person? go hang out in the Freebuild World, and build. Another thing i really appreciate about the server, is all the event's, especially the, Infernal Mobs http://mcmonarch.enjin.com/forum/page/1 ... wide-event
That was so fun! The community is pretty good about hosting event's often, and there is more to come

This is a really good server and i strongly recommend it for people that would like to play on a friendly and peaceful server. It has 2 minigames, spleef and quake! Which are really fun to play. It also has a Freebuild/Towny server, which is the main server. Where you will see most of the players spending their time and doing stuff, but there are people on the two minigames servers too! This server also has VERY friendly and helpful staff. From all what i said, i would really recommend this server!
