Hey there, we are a server that is about to open in the forthcoming weeks and we are looking to get some Staff on board for the long journey we have ahead of us! We are going to need an Idea for the server of course, and we will need plugins for our server too! That is where we need a Developer for. Of course we need to pay for our server so I will be selecting 1-2 Co-Owner(s) from the applications to help pay for the server but will also have full access to commands etc. We are in desperate need of the following:
Staff
:Junior Helper - This is almost the initiation rank. We will use this to determine weather we have chosen the right person for the job! Those with this role will simply answer people's questions about the server and overall be a friendly person to talk too! This is only a temporary rank that will last 14 days before we decide weather you can join the Staff Ranks.
Helper - Now this is where the magic starts to happen! Everyone with this role are like the tip of the spear. You will do everything the Junior Helper does, but you are also permitted to a permanent rank. This will stay with you unless we decide to demote you, or you quit the server.
Chat Moderator - These are the people who moderate the chat clearly. They have access to ./mute ./tempban ./kick and more! They should follow this Code System. Code White is what a Chat Mod should never be in. Code White is when you are paying attention to the person you are talking to and ignoring everything else in chat. Code Yellow is where you are aware of everything going on in the chat. This is what you should be at a most times. Code Red is when you suspect someone is breaking the rules so you keep an eye on them. Code Black is where you are permitted to take action when you are sure that they are breaking the rules.
Moderator - This rank is inaccessible through application. A moderator is close to a Chat Mod except a Moderator also manages other things that are going on in the server. They have access to ./v and others. They also have the authority of the situation over Chat Mods. You keep everyone of a lower rank than you in order.
Administrator - This rank is inaccessible through application. The only way you can gain this rank is through an Owner promoting you from Mod. The Admin has access to most commands and Administrates the whole server at once. Only the specially gifted staff gain this rank.
Co-Owner
Co-Owner - If you are granted the rank of a Co-Owner, I will mostly brief you through Skype or PM due to privacy over cost of payments etc. Co-Owners are practically Owners. They pay, they decide, they do good. The only thing they lack from an Owner is that I founded the server. That is it.
Builder
Builder - A builder builds everything for the server. Ranging from spawns to houses to God knows what. Builders are like the backbone of the server, and this is the rank that we are most in need of at this current time. These will be given a special rank in the server titled "Architect"
Developer
Developer - No longer require this rank.
Those are all the ranks that are applicable to this post right now, although others will be added in the future like Site Administrator or Director. PM me if you will be interested in these when the time comes.
On to the application sheets! All the ones highlighted with a * are mandatory to be answered. All the ones that aren't marked with * are not required although if you answer them, your chances of getting admitted will increase dramatically. The lower Staff Rank you apply for, will also boost your chances of being picked as it shows that you have patience. For example, someone applying for admin will have a much worse chance of getting the role than a person who is applying for Jr Helper.

Why do you want to be staff: I would like to be staff because I have a lot of previous experience of being staff on many different servers and love helping on servers. I have also not played minecraft in a couple of months so this will get me more active.

I feel at this moment in time however that your application wasn't detailed enough to succeed Mod right now. Yes I am currently setting up my server and as soon as it is up, I will PM you the IP. It will not be open to whitelist applications however until we are sure we are ready for them.

Furthermore, i have no real proof aside from maybe one or two screenshots of my name with a rank next to it. Otherwise, you will just need to take my word. I apologize, but really it's all i can do. Anyway, I was on server A, i was a Head-Builder which soon migrated to Head-Admin (6 months). On server B, I was Head-Admin from the get-go (After applying, of course. 3 Months) And finnally, On server C, I was an Admin. I know my way around the block, and can suitably punish or reward players.(8 months)

Why do you want to be Co-Owner: In my Opinion i believe that this server is very great and should have all the help it needs.I have truly experienced what being an owner/co-owner is like and it is tough work. I would love to help this community as this server shares a great community as well as Great support. I will support the Community and always treat players with the same care as other players do.I will also ban those nasty players who wants to ruin this greatl server and ruin the fun enjoyable time the players are having.This server is indeed very enjoyable as there is many things to do. Well in honesty I'm currently not working so I would like to fill my time doing something i love, which is playing Minecraft. I would like to work for your server as said above in another app you have put a lot of effort into this thread and I was also greatly impressed. I've played Minecraft for a couple of years now and I am capable at almost all aspects of the game. I am aware of most commands and I can use them efficiently.

Around 5-6 per day probably more.

I'm friendly, open, honest but not naive. I can be firm and unwavering when i need to be.

I would give the player ample opportunity to listen to my advice of requests before choosing to discipline them. Any disciplinary action would always depend on the situation and I would endeavour to be as fair but firm as possible.
What would you do if the player is continuing even after you have carried out this action:
Again as above this would be highly dependant on the situation at the time, If a player was just being generally rude, swearing or spamming i would try to gain their attention via mute or possibly kicking them. If the matter was more serious i would consider temp banning. I would only use Ban if I absolutely had to as it losing a player for the server, though i do know there are times where it is nessesary to ban instantly.
If a Staff Member of a lower rank than you is acting out of order, then what action would you take:
I would talk to the staff member involved to discover why they had acted out of term, but if necessary I would use disciplinary action to enforce server rules as no staff member should be considered to be exempt from the server rules due to their status.

Worked for Platinum Network as a Manager no ip available as the server has since shut down to to financing issues. It was an RPG server though the Idea was good the general planning failed and so did the financing.

I go and report it and the Owner does not believe me because I am a lower rank, so I would need to bypass this boundary, that is why I would get proof first and show it to the Owner and let the Owner sort out the rest.

I don't NEED staff but I enjoy helping. I do it because I feel the server may have potential if done right and I want to reach that goal. It's not that I want or beg for staff, but I do feel that I can help the server in some way.

What is your personality like: I don't deal with people fooling around. I am serious and I don't like people messing with my builds without my permission. I do have a tendency to aim towards perfection and I have high building standards. If I don't feel that I can help the server anymore I will step down and leave immediately. I always try to better myself and my builds. I try to hold my tongue but if someone is getting in the way or messing around while I am trying to work I can get annoyed very quickly. Use common sense and ask first and you'll stay on my good side.
What is your best theme of build: I was decently good at steampunk but I've been trying to play with new styles and blocks recently. I struggle with modern builds though because they are hard to detail for me. Medieval, steampunk, fantasy, and anything with high detail.
