Tailacraft is now recruiting staff. Due to rising player numbers within our community we are currently looking to expand our team of highly professional and responsive staff. This is not amateur server. We are looking for qualified, sociable and mature staff members and we firmly believe in quality over quantity. The moderators we currently have are some of the friendliest, most loyal around and will do anything in their power to ensure players enjoy their time on the server. We accomplish this by ensuring our staff act like people not like power hungry robots. We encourage:
• Staff members to converse with players.
• We want our community to consist of mature and polite players so we pick out the “bad eggs” early.
• We use the best anti-grief and chest, door and furnace protection plugins.
• There are no donator ranks so everyone has a fair go.
If you believe you can help this server reach its high standards that are set by the players, then please apply if you just want to muck around, be inactive or want power then do not bother to apply. Only mature, friendly, active players may apply.
NOTE: We use Kik to communicate messages between staff as it allows us to create a staff group chat that anyone can access even when you are not at home. The owner is currently active duty Army and cannot access Skype the majority of times. If you do not know what Kik is it is a popular free messaging app on Android and in the Apple App Store. It may be on other devices so check your app store.
REGARDING THE IP ADDRESS: Please do not ask for the IP address as we have purposely kept it private as we have had incidences in the past where:
- Players will join the server and ask for rank straight away.
- They will join and ask us if we need staff.
- For some reason they say they cannot submit an application but want to apply in game directly to the Owner.
- Will join the server just so they can tell us they've applied for staff.
- Will join the server just so they can try to convince staff to read and accept their application
If you do any of these we will automatically deny your application no matter how good it is. The IP address will be sent to you once you've been accepted.

As I am an admin I am the person who takes responsibility for the server. It may be that the server is running from their machine, or that they simply have jurisdiction over a remote server, or in some cases part of one. I know that I have "THE POWER" of the server and can do practically anything to it, but I go by the rules and will make an awesome admin.
When I become moderator I go by these rules, 1st, listen to the head moderator, admin and owners. I do not have all the power of the server and respect that "calling" to the admins and owner(s) and expect that from them! 2nd, Help other players at all times! If they have any questions about the server, I answer. 3rd, look for server plugins and "fiddle' with them to make the server at its BEST!
I really do try and make the server at its best, I will be helpful to your server no doubt, but I just want you to take with you after you read this message is that I really know what I am doing. I don't see what's so funny two of the head admins on the server are active duty Army and one of the Moderators/Plugin Manager is active duty Navy. They do not have access to skype due to security reasons and they're normally out field, on a Military base or on exercises. We do not use peoples Facebooks as it is too personal and we don't use email as not everyone checks their email and its not instant. Text is out of the question as different countries would result in costs. They had a problem and they found Kik is a to solve their problem. They do a good job of keeping the server running professionally and I see no reason why using Kik to communicate between staff members is any less professional then Skype. Its instant, free, access on the go, easy to set up, can be installed and up in a minute, supports lots of devices. We can group message and see exactly who has seen the message and who hasn't.
