Need help with 1.7.2 Forge!

First of all, I have a mac, I don't know how to install mods, and I am far from technical. I downloaded Forge 1.7.2 and when I created a new profile on minecraft (for forge) and I clicked play, my minecraft crashed. It does that every time. Anyone know why??
