Hello.

This is mainly for the more advanced modders out there.
I'm looking for a way to optimise my worldgen and make it all a little smoother. I was told that not calling .generate every time would greatly improve performance, but I can't quite figure it out. Does anyone know of a good example of this in action?

Once this is sorted I can release my next mod cOre, which is a highly advanced ore system. It adds most common ores and many unknown ones, and is designed for modpacks. Generation is fully configurable and it's 100% xray-proof. This means instead of having tinkers copper, IC2 copper, UE copper etc, you can disable all those and JUST generate my copper while still getting enough to use for all 3.

Hmm... where exactly do you call .generate() 'all the time'?

I would suggest trying the forge mod loader forums. I think they may be more help.

Too many egos there.
Computer programmers all think they are better than everyone else and always look down on those asking for help. Sad but true fact. I don't like using the forge forums for that exact reason.
