How does a build project get onto the reel?

Hello!
What I was wondering is how does a build that a user uploads get onto the popular reel if the person isn't already well known by the PMC users? I was wondering this because I am building a huge and extraordinary project at the moment that im putting a massive amount of work into (drawings and ideas to add...). I want to know how would it get to the reel if no many see it. Im sure if a mod sees it and thinks its good enough and deserves it, they would inquire about putting it on the reel.
And one more off topic question I might aswell ask, if I was to make something and it had a story line about US at war with North Korea because of the Nukes and stuff would it be offensive and get taken down?

oh kk thanks anyways, im building an extrodinary, massive unlike any of my other builds, project and it is my plot to get the reel as i get sad when i try to and i dont so this will im positive in it, blender and Soartex fanvuer will be coming in handy for the pic! At weekend i upload not much will see when school is on so thanks all for answering, much appreciated!!!!

you need to get a good pic, maybe even edited. ever seen a build in the popular reel with a picture without any changes and default texture pack?

What goes on the popular reel is not chosen by staff. There's an algorithm for it. If the project gets enough views, diamonds, favourites, etc. combined, then it goes on the popular reel.
