How do you equip Banners as Capes on Console Edition?

Title pretty much says it all. The teaser images for the newest console update (which finally brought banners) shows people wearing the banners as capes. But I can't figure out how to do that. Any help is appreciated.

I really don't think that's how it works. On console editions you can only have capes by having a particular skin.
