I just attempted to install a mod that requires ModLoader for 1.2.3. It resulted in a Minecraft crash. I tried installing ModLoader itself on a fresh copy of the Minecraft .jar, and sure enough, it crashed even without the actual mod. This is my error log:
Is this happening to anyone else?
Oh yeah, I also noticed this:
I don't even have those mods installed. Wtf?
Mods loaded: 3
ModLoader 1.2.3
mod_InvTweaks 1.35 (1.0.0)
mod_MAtmos_forModLoader r8 for 1.0
Minecraft has crashed!

I believe it's an incompatibility with inventory tweaks. Just force update/delete the .minecraft folder and reinstall modloader. That should solve all your problems.
Edit~ Looks like you have old mods from 1.0.0? Just do the above, should fix it.
Weird that you don't have the mods though, well you say anyways. Might have put them directly into your jar and forgot about them?

Go to your mods folder in your .minecraft folder, you'll see 2 zip file's there, move them some where else,or delete them (If you want)
