<rant> Ok, so, I don't know if you guys have been getting PMC's DDoS protection loading thing, but I was just typing a HUGE post, like, 8 paragraphs, clicked "Preview".... and of course, it deletes my whole progress while it determines I am not trying to DDoS... Seriously? I mean, I am all for anti-DDoS, but this is a VERY annoying bug. Is there a way an admin can fix this so it doesn't happen again? I don't know... </rant>

I've gotten this from both PMC and MCF. At first, I thought it was my new laptop, now I know I'm not alone.

Yeah, I COULD just copy it, but even if I do, others probably won't, and have the same problem.

ITs a smart thing to do, its the same with a document, when you are writing a long essay and the power goes out, thats when you start saving every five minutes, this is really no different. Just copy before hand, its something that people need to experience before they do it

Why create a huge problem out of this? I personally always backup any work of mine before clicking "Submit" or "Preview", even out of PMC. Also, this is for the good of us. DDoS protection is something serious. Also, it might not be a bug. Hackers tend to search for any small breaches, and getting this removed would open a big hole in the security.

Just copy your text just in case something like that happens again.

Just copy whatever you had written before you click preview. You should be doing this all the time with anything; services go down for whatever reason so it's better to be safe than sorry.

This. Regardless of how reliable a site is or isn't, you should be doing this anyway since there's always a chance your page could randomly refresh, internet could hiccup, or the site could go down thus erasing your progress.

With everything that is happening with Playstation and Xbox (Just PSN atm), we need all the DDOS protection that we can get.

No. I am not saying that the DDoS protection is a bug. What I AM saying is that it erasing all my data when I hit preview IS a bug.
