Server RAM addition error/ finding IP
When I try to add RAM to my server, it gives me the error
"Unable to access jarfile minecraft_server.jar" It says this both on my windows xp and my parent's mac OS X.
also, how can I find my server's IP? My computer's IP has a bunch of letters and stuff, which minecraft doesn't allow.

That looks fine, but you aren't really meant to launch the exe from a bat file. You can download the minecraft server jar and launch that with a bat file, but you might as well go the whole way and just use Bukkit.

you see, that is where the problem begins. The bat file wont change to look like the minecraft icon. The text in the bat file is:
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx1050M -Jar "Minecraft_Server.exe"
The file also contains:file contains: world file, banned.ips, server(text document), minecraft_server.exe, banned-players, server(property file), ops, white_list.
The bat file looks like a gear and has run as the name.

put the bat in the same folder as the jar
