I was wondering since 1.3 allows us to make our single player worlds into mutli player worlds using Lan.
Can we use bukket plugins or other plugings like Mcmmo in our single player world now?

Actually the mod-support with the plug-ins folder I think is coming in 1.4, and if not the plug-ins might come when 1.3 officially comes out.

That's one thing it stands for, if there is anything else.
SinglePlayer Survival should be SSP, and if Creative would be CSP.
He probably means the SinglePlayer Commands mod updating to improve on the Commands/Cheats Mojang is adding in SinglePlayer (Which you can choose if you want them or not while creating a new world.)

Yea, only the people who are connected to the same internet WiFi would be able to connect.

---I have tried hosting a server a few times, but could never get the plugin installed or working.

There will still be SinglePlayer, though it will act like a MultiPlayer server kind-of.
People can only join your SinglePlayer world if you turn on LAN though but only people on the same internet (I think) / in your house.

Well see single player in 1.3 isn't really single player
It is like you running a server on your computer and connecting to it with minecraft
Looking at the minecraft code I can say the current dev team is working on cleaning up the code as well as increasing efficiency.
Notch is a great guy and all ... great idea for game... but really is a bad programmer.
