I've noticed that on the new navbar, having customized it of course, it can be very easy to click the "x" that appears on mouseover instead of the link itself. This, of course, removes it from the navbar.
Would it be possible for a bit of a delay (as in, a hover, rather then a mouseover) before the "x" appears?

Good idea, we will add a delay on hover of pinned items before displaying the unpin icon and function.
The random wipes should be fixed as of this morning.
We'll continue to polish the new nav. Appreciate the feedback.
New nav was necessary because we have run out of space and more sections and personal site customization options will follow.

I haven't had that problem yet, all I've had is PMC suddenly whipping my pins and I have to set them up all over again. Maybe that's been fixed now, but I'm not sure.
MGB, obviously you're losing at PMC.

Would that work on mobile, though?
Wait, you can customize it?
How?
Also, it's a new feature. You can expect problems. I'm sure there will be some fixes and smoothing of the feature soon.

MGB_NavbarryYou can pin items to make it easier . Select the one you want to view. Then, hover over its name on the taskbar and click. Now it will be pinned. Once pinned to your taskbar, it will stay like that forever. So, because of this feature, you can setup the taskbar just like it was.

If you hover over the logo of the section you're currently in (the bit of paper for Blogs, for example) a little pin will appear.
Click it, and the thing will be added to your navbar permanently, like so:
You can even click and drag them to re-arrange them however you please.
I agree it is way to easy to accidentally remove it.
