Forum posts/topics, such as this, earn you no experience. You earn experience from uploading/posting submissions, such as projects, skins, blogs, etc. After earning so much experience, you will level up. See how much experience you need, for what level, and what you get for leveling up here.

Forums do not generate XP. You need to post a project, texture pack, skin, blog or mod to get XP. Then, you will get views, which will give you XP, too.
