Well there is always Fraps (I know it isn't free)
But it doesn't cost that much + unlike Bandicam you can record without a logo, and you only pay for this once, and then you have it until the day the sun becomes black.

I'm not sure whether some people in this thread hinted to torrent Fraps. Either way, don't torrent it. Torrenting any copyright piece of software, game, etc.. Is illegal. So I would buy over torrent.

Active presenter is the best I have found so far

Get "Fraps". alot of youtubers are using it I think xD Either that or try Screencast-O-Matic.

I agree with Afootpluto. OBS is almost free. When I say almost, I mean you only have to pay a few minutes and some clicks to get it!

I use a torrented version of FRAPS, super easy to install..

If you have an nvidia gpu use ShadowPlay. Its the best screen recorder there is other than an actual capture card.

Hypercam3 for desktop recording and Fraps for Game recordings.

Mac:
- QuickTime Player

Windows:
- FastStone
- Fraps

I have used all of these before and my personal opinion is that QuickTime Player is the best followed by FastStone then Fraps.

If you have an iMac, QuickTime Player records your screen. I don't know about Windows though.

Fraps is insane. Videos are massive files, and it takes up huge amounts of memory to run. Great quality though.
I use ShadowPlay. Its amazing.

I would try to stay away from Fraps f your computer isn't a great computer. Fraps uses a lot of your computers resources as well as create large files.

I use Camtasia. To me, it's good.. Idk what other people think about it.

I use mirilis action. I bought it for $20. It is very good, and has usefull stuff. Like a face cam if you have a camera. You can record your mic or not. You can use the free version, but it has a watermark. I think it was worth my money. But if you don't want that you could get ezvid. I used that when I couldn't use a paid recorder. For me it was glitchy, but I had a horrible computer. It has music that you have to put in, but youtube marks it as a copyright thing, so you could get a copyright strike if you don't use ezvid well. I suggest mirilis action.

My Youtube Videos are doing great, and my subscriber base is growing, but they are complaining about the watermark with bandicams website on it. I don't have the money to pay for the premium version, does anyone know any screen recording programs that are free with no watermarks?

If your videos are doing great and your sub base is growing, then you really should consider getting a full version of bandicam or something else. I speak from experienc, your subs will appreciate it.

You get what you pay for

You can try the free version of Fraps BUT you can only record for 10-30 seconds or something, though. I suggest Fraps which is what most YouTubers use and it as great quality and: SUPER EASY. You just have to set it up; FPS, etc. Twist: It costs 20-50 bucks but TOTALLY worth it! Other recording programs cost 100-200 DOLLARS so at least it's better but it's not totally what you are asking for.
