I'd love to see a pvp update to fix what 1.8 messed up. Maybe an update that adds interest to more dull biomes (most forests but mainly dark oak forests, badlands, ice spikes ect.)

Lol no I don't care much for mining, but maybe some new things added to the mesa, swamp, & extreme hills biome cause those are pretty boring at the moment

just.. dog breeds. we have cat breeds, and even sheep breeds (dyed sheep), why cant we have like 5 types of dogs?
They should add 9 different breeds of dogs and do a 9th dog contest just like cats in 1.14!

Alright so I know this pretty crazy but I honestly think Minecraft needs to add... stickbugs for the memes.
Tameable mobs, like creepers and such. It'd actually kinda be cool if there were baby creepers, since there's baby zombies and such, and you could tame them, kinda like with foxes.

ADD A NEW ORE! LAST TIME A NEW ORE WAS ADDED (that I can remember) WAS REDSTONE, AND THAT HAPPENED YEARS AGO! MORE ORES!

Though I know what you mean, an extra ore in the overworld would be helpful but there should be more purpose to these new ores if they're added.

Yeah, Minecraft really could use some built-in optimization.
The aesthetic update. it's mainly just making it so that wooden and stone items have different texture based on what type of stone'wood you make it our of.

It may sound strange, but i thought of an idea for enchanted minecarts? They seem to be pretty basic and i think it would be something that Minecraft would have. Such as like maybe an enchantment for how many cars are on it or like a lightweight one where it could do jumps and maybe a connected one where its connected to the track and maybe you could do something with rails and have them be able to go on walls or something? Make a cool loop thingy or something? I thought a thing like that could be really cool
I really, really, REALLY, want a physics update. Maybe give the mobs ragdoll physics like in minecraft dungeons or at least give them an animation for falling, swimming, jumping, etc. Better block physics would also be nice. There could be like avalanches and mudslides and stuff.
IMO Ragdoll physics just doesn't fit right with minecraft. Everything except that sounds pretty good though. A little bit of procedural animation could definitely go a long way. For example if you hit a skeleton with a weak attack it slides backward and bends towards you a bit, while if you slam it with a strong attack it jumps a bit like before.
horse update, let them carry chests like donkeys/mules. there is a perfect space when you look at their interface, so why not?
Isn't that the reason donkeys and mules can carry chests though? We also have an entire mob dedicated to carrying stuff; the llama.
true, but i meant be able to have armor, saddle, and the chest, it would be helpful with raids so you can be faster, keep your horse protected, And put items in the chest.

What about more redstone-compatible carts/transport-automation?
A dispenser cart would shoot objects when activated, and could be refilled with hoppers!
An repeater or observer cart could act as a way to input a signal from one side and carry it to the other!

If this does happen, we need a golden minecart, with the golden creeper face for 10 years
That would be pretty cool. One thing I could see them doing is allowing you to add any block to a minecart, for example you could use a shulker box instead of a chest to flex your superior storage, or you could add blocks to carts using droppers and get them out by powering activator rails for one tick (any more than one tick of power will ignite tnt). You could then use minecarts in all sorts of different ways.
I always thought something like a Glowstone Minecart would be cool.
