basically, this is the computer's basics of the one i'm getting for christmas. could it run screen capture and minecraft at the same time, maybe a couple other things.

2 GB RAM - Windows 7 - 250 GB disk - Intel CPU - 2.3 GHz CPU - Intel GPU - 1366 x 768

honestly, i don't know what like three of those things mean. if i get help from whoever and they wanna make a vid with me after i get it i would totally appreciate it.

250 GB disk - Hard drive, you'll have 250 gb to save on, thats okay.
Intel CPU - Brand name
2.3 Ghz - The speed the CPU is clocked at. You should know if its a quad or dual core?
Intel GPU - Probably intergrated graphics card. Which is...eh....
1366 x 768 - screen res.

Well 2gb RAM should just about run minecraft but I can guarantee it will be laggy and you will probably get alot of memory errors.

May I ask how much youre paying for it?

Is it a laptop? 2.3 is okay...but you could do better. The ram is okay...the hard drive is very good , and windows 7 is a win:D In fact, I think my laptop right now has around those specs....It can DEFINETELY run minecraft ,but im not sure about screen capture.Anywho , you could just upgrade the parts when needed.

yeah, it's a laptop. I don't really think i could be able to upgrade parts often if at all. thx tho.

No , you can't.You could upgrade the ram maybe , but If i were you i wouldn't.I've just googled my laptop specs , and it's actually worse than the one you're looking at.Also, could I have a link to it? I know this sounds wierd , but I could save your parents some money , and you could have a better laptop. Here is the one i'm looking at getting - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5072617/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7COffice%2C+PCs+and+phones%7C14418968/c_2/2%7C14418968%7CLaptops+and+netbooks%7C14419039/c_3/3%7Ccat_14419039%7CLaptops%7C14419040.htm#pdpFullProductInformation It's quite cheap for it's specs.
