Contest Theme
Make a video game character skin using an original video game character sprite. Colors and pixels need to emulate the chosen sprite's style, but you may adjust them to your liking. Along with your execution, you will be judged on how well you have converted the chosen 2D sprite into your 3D skin while keeping the style of the sprite in tact.

Requirements
Your contest skin must include the sprite used to make your skin and a link to this forum post both in the description of your skin.

Prizes
Fame & Fortune with nice bragging rights
First Place: A skin request for any video game character (optional)
Top 3 : A contest trophy for your profile and your skin will be featured on my profile,

Be sure to include the sprite and a link to this forum in the description of your skin.

Congratulations to the winners and participants!

I received 60 entries and there were so many good skins that I could not include in the final leader board. It took me over 3 hours to judge and rank these entries, so it was no easy task narrowing them down to only ten.

Remember that a lot of your score was based on how well you emulated the style of the sprite, so these rankings are not necessarily the order of the best skins in general.
As an added bonus, I have included some Honorable Mention awards at the bottom of the main leader board.

A big thanks to BenDragonsword for creating the trophies for this contest.
