The premise is simple, hopefully. The goal is to make a monstery* player skin using no more than 10 unique colours*. I thought the challenge of making the most out of the few colours you choose to be really intriguing and hopefully so do you.
You can go about this how ever you feel, maybe just have a 10 colour gradient and go crazy with shading or have an intricate design using the colours to differentiate separate details, it's entirely up to you!
Why monsters? Because I like them... and I don't see many monstery submissions floating around these days :)

1st - skin request and a texture pack changing a handful of things.
2nd - skin request and a texture pack changing a couple things.
3rd - skin request.
A discussion can be had about custom models when the time comes ;)
Specifics
Default resolution player skins only.
The skin must be made for this contest and be completely your own.
Only 1 entry per participant.
*Monstery is a blanket term I'm using for anything inhuman and unnatural, if it isn't real that should be monstery enough for me but the weirder you go with it the better! Example of a monstery skin made with 6 colours.
*Unique Colour takes into account the hue, saturation and brightness levels.
It would help if you made a palette of all the colours you're using to keep track.
You can also provide a link to the palette used in the skin description though this isn't required.
To keep things simple, only use 100% opaque colours on either layer.
Eventual link to a collection of entries.

That looks really cool! It looks like you have used more than 10 unique colours though. Using the shifting tool for shading meant you went past the colour count. But don't worry you can always edit the skin, I suggest picking a couple of your favourite shades from the darker greens and lighter greens and go from there. Any problems, just ask :)

Didn't think of that when writing the rules so sure, but I'll say that the lack of colour would then count as 1 of 10 colours used to make the skin, so you'll only have 9 unique colours to make the rest out of. Sound good? :)

Wait is it a mob skin or a player skin?
Do you have to do monsters or can I do a mob like a mooshroom?
Creativity is strongly encouraged so as long as it something ripped straight from reality I'll be happy, when judging I'll take into account how unique of a concept it is as well :D
