Hello,
My name is John and I have only been playing Minecraft for a few years. I host my own realm so my fiancé and I can play together. We just have fun building new creations and exploring. My fiancé and I are both college professors who play for fun and relaxation. I am a HUGE Frank Lloyd Wright fan and in a previous game built an as-close-to-scale replica of Fallingwater. It was on another server that went down and unfortunately, it was lost.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good texture packs to add to the game? I have a couple running now that I like, but wouldn't mind others. I'm a biologist, so any that offer extras in the realm of plants/animals, etc. would be neat.

welcome to pmc, that's so sweet that you and your fiance play minecraft together! honestly I wish I could say I do the same with mine but... :(
He's the one that got me into it in the first place. We were living apart for grad school and it was a way for us to stay connected while being separated by 1,000+ miles. :)

I'd probably suggest something like BetterVanillaBuilding if you or your fiance are into building, although it requires Optifine so I'm not sure how feasible it'll be in vanilla.
