Welcome to Rainbows and Withers!
We are a survival server with a range of plugins to allows players to do much more than just simply build and mine.

In place is a very intricate ranking system, that challenges players as they play. Our system does not only require players to have played for a certain amount of time, but to have done other things like kill 100 zombies, break 1000 stone blocks, travel far and wide! Once you've done your time and quests, you must then travel to the mysterious shrines around the map to find the right one for you! Once you've made your way to the heart of the shrine, facing different challenges each time, you may then rank up. Ranking up unlock awesome new features for you to play around with, like buying fly time, backpacks, and more!
To stop unwanted grief we have grief prevention! Don't claim it? It's anyone's game. You can claim up to 200,000 blocks with our GP and you gain more blocks by playing, so if you don't play you will never earn more! With McMMO and McMMO Horses AND Jobs, there's always something to be doing. Choose from a range of jobs to earn money, and if you don't like the jobs we have then recommend new ones! We love to hear feedback.
Shop until you drop with our player shops at the Mall! Once players have reached the rank Servant (12 hours min. gameplay) they can come on down and pick an unoccupied shop in the Mall, and there's plenty to choose from. Players have access to the quickshops plugin to create easy shops for others to buy from. There's even an Admin shop in the middle to buy those harder to get items!
On our own website we have a full dynmap of our world, which shows you where other players have built and where is still to be explored. Use this map as you will, it marks where the shrines are and you can see all the different biomes. Afraid of stripping down a whole mesa or desert to get your building finished? Not an issue. We have a Mining Desert and a Mining Mesa just for this, so you don't have to destroy whole biomes. These mining areas will be regen'd when needed, even if someone has built there, so refrain from building in them or too close.
We have a PVP Island where you can battle out to your heart's content, fighting against other players to show who's boss! On PVP Island, there are also chests hidden around on occasion that hold items of interest. Close by, there's our Minigames Island which players can choose plots to build minigames in for everyone to enjoy!

Join us for the new year where we plan to get bigger and better!
We've introduced different channels for chat, so that should you come on with friends, or simply don't like the conversation that is going on in global chat, you may leave the channel and join a different one!
Currently there are the following channels:
Global - everyone, over the whole world will join this when they log in
Help - use this to gain attention should you need help
Trade - Let people know if you have something interesting up for trade, discuss prices, etc.
Local - Anyone within 250 blocks will be able to chat with you, anyone further will not see what is said (great for friends who have bases close to eachother)
Network - Good for announcements, server wide with a 60 second cooldown.
You will automatically join the Global and Help channels, but you may leave these using /leave (channel). It is possible to be listening to all the channels at once, just use /join (channel) and use /(first letter of channel you wish to speak in) to focus on the main channel you will use. You must be connected to at least one channel, so if you don't want to hear anyone it's recommended to use the Network channel. Using /chwho (channel) will tell you who is listening on what channel, but don't worry about being sat talking to yourself wondering why no one is replying, it will let you know if no one is listening.
Depending on how things go and how busy things get, in the future additional channels can be set up should they be required. If while using the local channel you find that the radius is just too little, please let us know so we can modify it. Please remember that if anyone says anything to you in any of the channes that offends or upsets you, take a screenshot so you can report it to us.

PVP ISLAND IS BACK!
Now you can once again challenge your friends (or foes) in battle at PVP Island! Some improvements have been made, so that's a bonus too I guess! We have added a RandomTeleport sign that will teleport you to random parts of the island, to stop people camping right outside the safe zone. There're also better terrain to use, so more challenges await! Be warned, now if a player dies their drops are no longer protected. If you are killed your drops are free for anyone to take, so don't die!
To get there use /warp pvp OR the warp sign at Spawn.

UPDATE!
We now have an auction feature, in which players can put unwanted items to auction for others to bid on. It also picks up naturally despawing items and sends them to auction, so that nothing goes to waste is it doesn't need to.
Commands:
/wsc auction (sends item in hand to auction)
/wsc showcase (shows the items up for auction)
/wsc vault (shows you where your items you have won go if you were offline when you won it or your inventory was full)
