I don't know if it's just me, but if you go to "Library > Application Support > minecraft > assets > skins" a bunch of folders will pop up. Open one and open the page in it to get some really cool skins, some even 1.8 skins with hat layers all over their body.

Wow I just tested that out! It works! I never knew about this!

it shows kefkas incredible hulk, on the first folder first skin, anyone else have this

since minecraft runs on java it would probably be
"%appdata% > .minecraft > assets > skins" on PC.
"%appdata% > .minecraft > assets > skins" on PC.

You can but it calls it an extensionless file

BTW this is on a Mac.
