Video Editor?
I am looking for a good video editor. It does not have to be free, but maybe not exactly "pricey".I know big youtubers use Sony Vegas, but that is over my budget, and will take probably a long time to get like over $600. Are there any good editors that are affordable and do a presentable job for editing? Or should I just save up for Sony Vegas? Thanks so much!

I use ScreenFlow, After Affects CS5, and Cinema 4D to edit my videos... and I do very cheap like $5 ~ $20 depends on the video(s).

I tried Lightworks, and its not the best for gaming, (in my opinion), but thanks for the suggestion. I might use Powerdirector 12, since I just realized it was already installed on my computer! Seems pretty good, thanks CodingBuckets for the suggestion!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I will try the suggestions, but I guess I'll stick with my Windows Movie Maker for now, even though I could do better, atleast hopefully soon I can get some uploads. Thanks so much!

You should try Movie edit pro

$49.99, my choice is still superior.

Here's something I found when searching for a free green screen video editor. And I found it. Completely free. http://www.videosoftdev.com/free-video-editor. Has pretty good features, certainly a step up from Windows Movie Maker.

Cough*Maybe Pirate*Cough.
Not saying it is cool, just giving an option you can choose.
If not, Try Pinnacle Studios or Camtasia.

I use Camtasia Studio 8. It works perfectly!

Me too! Camtasia FTW

It's also $300.
Although it isn't the most effective during the rendering process and is very basic. It'll be good enough to start you off. It's free! You can download it from Microsoft's website!
AzieI use Windows Movie Maker for all of mine. It provides basics that do the job pretty well.

LeeanneI just need it for Minecraft videos. I don't really care if the editor is completely free, i mean I have like 100 dollars or so. I know its not much, though. :P I guess i could save up, and I am a complete tightwad, and never, EVER spend money, so maybe I could get it sooner or later. Thanks for helping! :D
Gameplay? Or trailers and showcases? If it's for gameplay, then you definitely don't need anything fancy. It would also help to know what OS you're running! :)

I use Windows Movie Maker for all of mine. It provides basics that do the job pretty well. The only thing I'm sorely missing while using it is some kind of ability to censor parts of the video in case of nudity (*cough*Witcher 2*cough*) and whatnot.

I mean... I don't know of any for FREE that have outstanding features.
What do you need it for? I use Final Cut Pro X and Adobe After Effects CS6.
Saving up for keeps would be worth it in the end.

Just save up if you're interested. The free ones, I don't think they'll be the best. But they'll do for a while. :S
