What "Graphics language" should I learn?
So yeah, title explained most of it, however.... Graphics language isn't exactly a good term. I mean rendering API really, I guess. Anyway, I'm no where near learning one, as I'm learning C++ at moment... But basically... What's better: DirectX, OpenGL, or something else? I've also heard of things like Cairo, SDL, etc., but what should I prioritize myself to learn later on?

Well, it looks like the majority of people are recommending OpenGL. I might start looking into that now and mark it down for later.

DirectX is only for windows, and it is *apparently* a lot harder to learn.
If you go with OpenGL, find 3.* tutorials, not ones for 2.*/1.*

OpenGL is cross-platform. DirectX is Windows-only IIRC.

Whatever you want ^_^ just follow your dreams and do what you want.
OP add a poll for all the options you can have and put an "Other" "say in comments"
And I'd say OpenGL for graphic language. Its a better choice honestly.
