The World of Eldin is not a very easy place to excel. You have the choice to just live off the land out in the wilderness, try and amass enough money to have your land protected, or go the cheaper route and buy land in a city.
Our money is Economy based, and our virtual currency is called Trade-Bars, with Bits used as coins or change. These Trade-Bars are used to buy a multitude of items from player shops and server shops or to buy a variety of land choices for you to build on.
After purchasing a plot of land, you will earn yourself a title. Your first title will most likely be Gentry (100 wild tiles) or Villager (100 city tiles). Titles are how you get yourself known around the World of Eldin, and they each come with some server responsibilities of their own.
Griefing in Eldin is frowned upon, but if you live in the unprotected wilderness, expect it! City life is so much easier. You can make money by selling certain items to shops, or to other players. Maybe even get hired to perform a job for someone! Living in a city or on any protected land will protect you and your precious items from those nasty griefers.
With time invested in our server you will soon see your small plot begin to grow into a town, flourish into a hamlet, and evolve into a great thriving empire.** Ruled by YOU!**

We have a city system that has been well developed over 6 years. (SIX YEARS!) Buying land and transforming into a thriving city holds meaning. You can purchase specific buildings for your city that will will give you different bonuses: Like buying a Dragon Travel station or a Barracks (disables pvp and monster spawning inside your city). There are a variety of different buildings that allow you to build your city the way you want to.

Hey! Haven't forgotten about us have you?! Summer break is on the horizon and we feel like Eldin is just the perfect place to spend time! We have all sorts of new events and stuff coming. Keep an eye on this thread for some sneak peaks!

We have begun contruction of our quest world! Its a separate world from our normal one exclusive for quests. Its a world painted map and all custom built! Exciting times to come.

There is a war happening tomorrow! Odin has declared war on Fortside, and fortside belonging to the midland nation means the capital of the nation, Eden as offered its keep as the building attackers shall strike. Its happening tomorrow, Sunday 18th at 4pm EST. Show up and experience an Eldin war!

Our first dungeon, Blackrock is live! You can find the entrance to it at spawn, in the corruption island by the church. Go in with an empty inventory, the plugin DungeonsXL is still very beta so it has some bugs. In the dungeon we make use of an assortment of mythic mobs, with special habilites that give you a very wide dungeon experience. Try it out! Give it your best, rewards are very good!

A new war has been declared! Odin declares war on Fortside which means the 2 nations will colide! World war in upon eldin. THe great war will be fought at the Eden keep. Good luck to wall. A time is still being discussed so both parties can attend. I'll keep you posted. You can follow the discussion on our forums!

Well yesterday was a crazy night.A player called StynFF went rogue and started to kill everyone on sight, and that triggered the biggest pvp wave the server has seen in a while. Several groups formed, hunting for StynFF and his companion, and what ended up happening was those groups fighting eachother! It felt like 3 years ago Eldin when pvp used to be very common. It's just up to the player mindset. Whether you risk it or stay at home. In Eldin you have to work very hard for your items and then you have to be able to risk them on a pvp fight. Heart starts pumping. This is real PvP.

Our first custom dungeon, Blackrock is going live tomorrow. We have made about 15 custom mobs for it, including a huge magma cream as a final boss. He has all sorts of powers. We also have other stuff, a really annoying creeper that doesnt die (teehee) and a mini boss slime are some examples. You can pick between 4 classes, and you can play it alone or up to 4 people. This will be the first of a story of about 10.

Branflakes, the server owner, has announced that we will be moving to a dedicated server in the next month. Our box is capable of running 32 servers, but.. it will run just 1! We will have all the power we need. We might even be able to increase view distance above the average which is just great.

Here is a sneak peak at our new dungeon, Blackrock. We are now finalizing the mobs it will spawn in. We are using MythicMobs for this. Should go live today still! We will have several dungeons, some will be apart of a story. This is the first of that story. The others will either be single dungeons or be used inside a certain quest.

We've always had a problem with shop plugins. Surprisingly, most plugins out there dont offer what we need. The plugin we need is very specific. We need server shops, and player shops. Server shops we need to setup as infinite stock, so you can buy whatever to them, or sell whatever to them, at a defined price, it may vary from city to city, or item to item. So each item needs to be able to have several prices, since cities can have buildings that boost items prices. This is one of the problems with some shops plugins, server shop items have a set item. Then comes the player shops. Player must be able to buy their own shop if they have a certain permission, and set them up as they like.
Right now, BetterShop does that perfectly. But we are perfectionist and we want something else! The NPC functionality for better shops is currently broken when you also use Citizens2. There is a multiplication bug, so we can't so it. But we found a way around that with a denizen script! We can create an npc that when you click him, it opens up the shop. It's great and adds a really RP feel to the server! Cities will feel much more immersive.

We just come up with a way to have npcs work with our shops. Our plugins Better Shop and citizens are no compatible. There is a bug that multiplies a single npc several times. But we found a way around that so people will be able to have their npc shops!

The spawn now has a new boat! much better than the last. We are now working on building some docks to it, right now there is a temporary road. Will be done probably tomorrow.

Quick tip: The minimum land you can buy is 100 tiles, as thats what our lowest ranks need. You can have land protected and no rank.
