i'm captain. i have been playing minecraft since beta 1.8 prerelease. i'm a beginner datapack creator, although i am already very adept at many technical aspects of the game and have been working with it for many years.
i enjoy building in a variety of artstyles, but i tend to vastly overestimate my abilities. i love hermitcraft too.

i also quite enjoy making texture packs. i'm ok at texturing myself but it's mostly remix stuff. i prefer resource packs that only change a few little things and i am a big fan of many vanillatweaks options. i have version of my own, Vanilla Retouch, that combines many of my personal favorite minor changes from other small resource packs as well as several of my own textures. while this long predates vanillatweaks, it has been a very valuable resource for it.
