Important mod announcement. The hamster running our mod permission servers has quit unexpectedly leading to permissions getting messed up.
We are hiring for Lead Wheel Runner with a minimum of 0 years experience. This is an integral role in the operations of PMC and the position comes with a hefty benefits package that includes free dental and treats. Work hours are 24/7. If you are interested in this position, please contact Paril on his guestbook asking for the position. We look forward to hearing from you!
I know it's tempting but whatever you do, don't press any of the moderation buttons that show up on resource pages! It won't be until Tuesday that we'll be back in the office to look at any of this :(
As always, thank you to all the participants this season! SSPBL isn't possible without all of you (participants, voters, and organizers). Thank you for making this yet another fantastic season.
Keep those palette skills sharp, we will see you in the next season!
Today is my 12 year PMC anniversary. Give it one more year and there will be people on this site who were born after I had joined PMC. Someone make the clock stop please.
Zitz here with a bit of PMC history for newer members. This song can never die. A good reminder of how many people have passed through PMC over the years. The friendships formed, the collaborations made, and the Minecraft played.
Yes I have shared this before, but that was 3 years ago now.
A few interesting notes about this video that really show how old it is now:
You don't see drop parties being a big thing anymore in the MC community. They still exist but they aren't a hot topic anymore.
Really old PMC UI and forums back before Paril reworked them. I can remember it feeling like the forums were being worked on for years before there was an update. And now, I can barely remember the old forums.
Terms like "haxor", and other old-school gaming terms that seemed to have faded over the years.
More than just PMC, this video is a good snapshot at what the gaming community was like back then.

Week 1 results are in! Click below to see who has progressed to Week 2.
Bracket
You will notice that one of the names got moved around. Due to this, it left part of the bracket empty. This was resolved by allowing the 2nd place from a 3-way poll to move on to Week 2.
Redemption Jam Our S8 Redemption Jam is now live. This jam is intended for those who get eliminated throughout the season. Active participants in the bracket can not join the jam until they are eliminated. If you missed the deadline to join this season, this jam is also open to you.

Yes, I am retired. I am taking a temporary hiatus to take time for myself. PMC moderation is taking up too much of my time at the moment and I feel unable to serve the community effectively.
I'll be back once life has calmed down. No, I'm not leaving PMC, just taking a break from moderator duties.
I'm making this wall post due to recent trends I have been seeing on PMC. Remember that abuse of a system to gain XP is a bannable offense, regardless of if it is a bug or not. Do not ask for spam for the sole purpose of boosting your account. Post content, earn your XP naturally. Don't try and speed up the process.
We have these level restrictions for a reason, to cut down on spam. Trying to get around these restrictions can lead to bans. Remember people, this is a Minecraft website. Post Minecraft content and that will get you the levels you need.
Apparently this distinction needs to be made. You are more than welcome to spam people with diamonds and favorites but you MUST NOT request the spam for boosting your levels. We allow people to diamond each other's content, we don't allow Diamond-4-Diamond schemes. Same logic applies here. You can spam people with diamonds, but you can not do it for the purpose of helping someone farm XP and levels. Do it because you like their stuff.
