Iris and Sodium are both good mods, Iris allows for shaders, and Sodium boosts FPS similar to how Optifine does, and a good shader that might fit your question is Rethinking Voxels. Rethinking Voxels is a relatively new shader, and has become very popular recently. Rethinking Voxels adds better shadows and lighting effects than most other shaders. Please note that Iris and Sodium are both Fabric mods, so you will need to use the Fabric Modloader with the FabricAPI. You could also just use Optifine instead, but if you want more FPS, I would go with Iris and Sodium. You can download Rethinking Voxels from Modrinth:
