Nico, here's what i would suggest seeing as i myself am looking to get a new pc and have read A LOT of articles on price/performance of PC parts
1) For gaming nowadays i would recommend a 3.5Ghz and above CPU, whether from intel or AMD is your choice but AMD is more optimized for new gaming due to the more cores it has however intel has fewer but stronger cores which help in everyday tasks and editing of videos ect
2) The GPU should be determined by THIS website
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_value.html because it has every GPU on there, i've put it on the best value filter so that you can get a piece of mind when comparing GPU's
3) 8GB RAM is good but having 16 is essential in making a gaming PC that will last a long time, however if 16 is out of the price range then 8 will definitely deliver a good experience.
4) Trust me when i say there is no need for anything above 1TB, unless you edit videos which i dont think you do, heck even 500GB is good enough but dont go below 500GB.
Those are my basic tips, its designed so that you save as much as possible while building a good gaming PC because in reality only 3 things make the gaming PC which is CPU & GPU power and amount of RAM, if they're high performance then the entire pc will be assuming you have decent disk space and cooling methods
I myself come from the UK but i would highly reccomend PassMark as a tool to compare the prices of CPU's and GPU's so that you can see as i said earlier which is the best price again performance. Hope i helped man!
