BUT ANYWAYS back on topic. Can you list some games that I won't be able to play at reasonable settings/reasonable fps (if there are any)

My options: Dial-up, Satellite internet (reasonable price/speed but low data limit), and Verizon wifi that is, for some reason, slower than dial-up here, or broadband from the tower than is currently being built) My neighbor has the satellite so I use her internet a lot. PS I'm the only person who uses a computer anyways, so that's not an issue.

The only other option is dial-up. So, 70 for 7mbps is pretty good where I live. What I hate is, if I lived about 4 or 5 miles from where I do now, I could get 1 gbps internet. Plus a city 2 hours away (Nashville) is getting Google fibre optic next year.

They're building a broadband tower less than a mile from my house. They've been working on it for a little over a month or so. It's being built by a local company called JTM Broadband.

ATM im using dial-up (It's litterally the ONLY type of internet we can get out here that doesn't have an extremely low data limit)

Also, since the tower is being built less than a mile from my house, are you sure it won't be 7mbps?

Hm. My friend (who is really smart with computers and a trustworthy person) has the same internet, same package, etc, and he said with a 'Netgear N700 router' his wifi was boosted up to 40-130 mbps.

So, im guessing it will also be able to run heavily modded Minecraft (CrazyCraft modpack/tekkit modpack for example) at max settings?

If im getting a 7 mbps internet package, can you find the best router for me? Is there any router that will boost the speed?

About the screen size, idk. I'll only be moving it around my house.. but idk. Ive always used 15.6 inch laptops, and I'm afraid i wont get used to 17 inch because it will be to big. On the other hand, the bigger the screen, the better (gaming wise)

Alright, so im guessing http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GE70-Apache-P ... ing+laptop will outdo the alienware. Should I get the 17.3 inch version or the 15.6 inch version? Is there any difference performance wise?

Idk. If anyone can find me a laptop that will run intensive games like watch dogs etc that is $1300 or less, then I will consider it.

Well, I actually need the extra cash lol. I mean, the internet im planning on getting is 200 dollar instalation fee, 70$ a month, plus im planning on getting a $170 dollar gaming router. So, I think I've made up my mind and my final decision is the Alienware 14 gaming laptop.
