Minecraft/Servers Help me with my server

Type 'my ip' in Google Search and it will give you your public ip. Public ip is what people will use to connect with to your server but remember it will have the port on the end! For example: your public ip is 245.156.784.156 and the default port for minecraft servers is: 25565, people should type this to connect to your server: 245.156.784.156:25565.
BTW make sure you have port forwarded
Your probably thinking how the hell would she know?? I run my own server on my own computer i dont pay hosts to do what I can easily do for free. Dont believe me? Check out my servers forum post.

I had a similar problem. Is the message when trying to login either Cant connect to Minecraft.net or Login failed in red writing?? If so it might be your anti-virus software or your connection to the internet. If this post doesnt help try playing in-browser minecraft until the problem passes.

You will need a unzip program e.g WinRar or 7Zip for some of the bigger plugins (Essentials). Some plugins are just .jar files when downloaded those ones just get dragged straight in to the plugins folder in your server files. For the plugins the require MySQL configuration you will either need an Apache software or contact your server hosters to set up an MySQL server for you (MySQL is the more advanced stuff). But it really comes down to which plugins you want. Some I reccomend: Essentials (Core Download), World Edit (Works wonders with building) & Admin CMD (good set of commands for Admins and Owners).

I can help without having to join your server! What sort of plugins do you want installed and ill post a step by step guide for you! Installing plugins is fairly simple and can be worked out in about 5 mins by either watching a youtube vid or somethin!

Experience: I have run my own server with Factions and PvP (similar to yours), it was quite successful.
I am no noob to Factions commands, I have a good knowledge of commands from experience of a wide range of servers. I'll be honest im not one of those epic builders, but as a staff member, I would be great, helping new persons of the server and just helping you and other staff.

I AM A MASSIVE HARDCORE PVP AND FACTION RAIDING FAN!
Free Time: Maybe 1 to 2 hours every night
Timezone: AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
How long have have I played minecraft?: Since 1.6.6 beta so about 1 year!

I have a minecrafting YouTube channel! My skin just isnt doing the job. Been looking for one that sort of suits me! I want it to be unique (if possible).
