Lol, I'm glad you're fine with the original series. I actually like both, but have always enjoyed the originals better than tng (personal preference, I guess). I never really understood why people would go off the deep end about one or the other being horrible anyway, they both have their good and bad moments.

Ultimately what you build is something you have to be passionate about, so you will want to see it through to the end. Think of a favorite movie or tv show of yours and try to build something from that. Or you could browse google images for interesting concept art of structures that were never built, and use that to envision what it might have looked like.

I took the survey and my number is 89. I personally think you should go for adult, but in the end it's your story and you can do whatever you prefer. Also, are you planning on publishing your story somewhere so we can read it when it is done?

I would make a backup version of the save first, then try playing it on the newer version. That way if the world gets corrupted you can always have the backup. I think there shouldn't be much of a problem unless its a very old version. I've updated worlds from 1.4.7 and earlier without them being corrupted. There should be no problem uploading it to the site.

If it's just pop-ups on Windows then I recommend hitting CONTROL-ALT-DELETE to bring up the task manager. From there you can select each of the pop-up windows and hit END TASK to close them. If it's pop-ups on the page itself then you can hit F12 to bring up the script for the page. Right-click the ads and select inspect in the dialog box that appears. The script should be selected for you and all you have to do is delete it. I don't know how ad.fly would react to closing out of ads on their page though, it might be safer to just wait them out.

??? Who asks for a certain number of responses on a forum topic? That would be like if I asked for a certain number of diamonds on a build.

I recommend putting minecraft and the name of the map in the title. That way people will know exactly the subject of the video and be more likely to watch it.

I think the fact that you heard the world will end from "Armageddon News' is enough to show that the end of the world is announced on a regular basis (but doesn't actually happen)... keep sitting on the couch and eating Cheetos.

I would say complex curves and lots of details, but don't pile them on as Ives said if they look bad. Use several different colors, and avoid plain square shapes as much as possible. However, you shouldn't go overboard with colors, because if you do it just becomes noise and takes away from the build IMO. Definitely outline and build frames beforehand. I think MCEdit is also useful for moving builds, and use some shaders for screenshots.
