I think the planet is just heating up normally.

Once upon a time dinosaurs were wandering around, and they're giant cold-blooded lizards that use sunlight as energy. For them to exist the planet would have had to have been way hotter than it is today.

Our planet is a rock floating around a giant burning ball of death - and we think that somehow it's going to be the same temperature every year? I don't know.
There's a lot of science behind the claims, which I must say, I haven't really looked into - from memory We're living in the hottest decade to date. Correlation doesn't necessarily mean Causation though.

Regardless However, at the end of the day -it is safer to do something about it and maybe lose some money, then to assume it's nothing and end up screwing up the habitability of our planet. I'm actually in favor of renewable energy - I think it makes far more sense then generating energy finitely. I think even if Global Warming ended up being false, renewable energy is something we should be using.

Just wanted to mention:

"it is ok to use music if you use less than 20 seconds of it, its called sampling"

It doesn't really apply here, you're really only able to legally use copyrighted material of less than 30 seconds if your content falls under fair use. Your videos would have to be either news or review based for them to qualify.

EVEN STILL, you have to remember that this is YouTube - and it doesn't follow standard copyright procedure. YouTube gives a lot of control to record companies and copyright holders. In the unlikely chance that the record company notices your use of their music, well, you could be in a bit of strife. =/

As for idiots on YouTube... just part of the community. Pretty annoying since the negative comments are the ones you usually remember the most. I had a kid, probably half my age, commenting on one of my older videos (a video where I was about the same age as him) calling me gay and telling me to 'farnackle' myself. His message may have been more hurtful had he been able to spell the words he was trying to use...

Opening yourself up to the internet can result in some nasty stuff. =)

I prefer a computer over consoles. Consoles are overpriced when you look at the components you are getting in them, as well as the cost of games. On computer - you really can take advantage of the digital world - so many games and mods - for me, playing on a console feels like a limited gaming experience.

They have they're benefits though - they are generally a media streaming, multiplayer machine that multiple people can use, and the interfaces are generally more straight-forward. It's unlikely that you'll catch a virus on your console, or accidentally delete something important.

Mike, you can get custom thumbnails without getting tied in with a network - you just need to monetize ONE YouTube video and have it accepted.

EvilMuffin253I would recommend is when you do a recap of the previous episode in a video, make it 15-30 seconds long, anything longer than that starts to drone on a bit.


They aren't actually recaps, they're a montage showing what's happened since the last episode - because I play the map behind-the-scenes as well. Nonetheless, in future series I'll take this into account and keep their length to a minimum. =)

Thank you very much for the review! Really helps seeing my channel from someone else's perspective to see what areas need improving. So far my general rule has been that if I make a video I wouldn't watch myself - then I should make it again. Cheers.
