What will you do if you get accepted: Well I could give u the cardboard cut out answer "well i want to make the server a better place". But no, Im gonna be real with you, generally there are 3 types of players who will join a server (but not always). You have the newbs who dont know much about mc or this type of server, i wish to help show them what to do as i have been playing minecraft for about 2 years and have played on all sorts of pvp servers.
Next you have the people who know a fair amount but might not know specific rules of the server i would help them when needed, keep them in line occasionally, and could help out with there many ventures on the server.
Next you have the trouble makers, the people who come on and are like "how upset would you be if your server got ddosed, i mean im not saying its going to happen, but you know" I want to get these people out of the way as fast as possible so that people who really want to play and have a good time can with as little disruption as possible.
I would also like to help the server get started i just got on and it had barely anything done, if i didnt think i could help I would have left right then hands down, no p[layer wants to be on a server that has not even finished their infrastructure
How long have you been playing this server: As i said above just a bit and i couldn't really play because nothing was done.
Past Experiences: I have been staff on some friends servers but thats not what i want to talk about on this section, i want to talk about my past experiences with bad staff. Do you know how quickly even just one bad, or unfriendly staff member can ruin an entire good server? well if you hadnt realized, very quickly. Ive had OPPED people take things out of my ender chest before, everything that i had spent hours working on. that server was ruined for me along with many others before it.
Skills with Redstone: I dont have a very high level of skill with redstone, i can get some simple things working but for any large projects I probably couldnt help, I would really just like to help moderate people and keep every1 as happy as possible (though u cant please everyone) the more people that are happy, more donators, more donators the better the server will get because you might be able to afford more RAM or such.
These are some of the reasons that I think i could be a good fit for a moderator on your server, and maybe eventually work my way up to an administrator.
