    What kind of theme did you have in mind? Any particular colors? Also, what dimensions will you need?

    Could you provide a few examples of banners, or other graphic design work?

    I'm a little perplexed by this. I already know all about dungeons, I came here looking for information about sungeons. Would a sungeon be a sunken dungeon? A dungeon with sunlight? One of those weird sunken desert dungeons with sunlight? Will we ever know?

    The requirements:
    * Age 21
    * Played MC since the first halloween update.
    * Excelent attitude.
    * Experience in configuring plugins, but not java development skills.
    * I have skype, but limited internet at the moment.

    I was running a small server for a while, but ran out of money. I think it would be fun to help out with a server that's just starting up, but I'm in between jobs and won't have reliable internet access for a month or two. How long are you thinking this project will take? If it's still in progress by the time I resolve my internet issues I think I would be a good addition to your team. If you're starting sooner than that I won't be able to reliably use skype, but I'm sure I can be of some use.

    as far as skills i can bring to your server project here's a list:

    Advanced skills with graphic design and logo design.
    Expert Builder in survival, creative and when using MCEdit.
    Expert at redstone and competent with command block usage.
    Mid level moderator/admin (I'm usually too nice, everyone says I need to kick/ban more people.)
    Mid Level plugin configuration skills.
    Basic server set up and general server maintenance skills. (I ran my own server for a few months through a hosting company.)

    Ok, so while I do think my actions were justified, this was one of the meaner things I've done. I was waiting for the bus when I was in high school, and I saw a freshman trying to pick a fight with an acquaintance of mine, so rather than have both of them get in trouble for fighting I took a handful of hatch chili powder and put it in the freshman's face. It was for his own good, he would have got his ass kicked if I hadn't intervened. Painful as hell, but not like getting a broken arm would have if he had got in that fight. Still it was a pretty horrible thing to do, and I did feel bad about it, so I went and got him a water bottle for his eyes right afterwards.

    On the one hand I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to notice this trend. On the other hand I'm disappointed that it's actually a real thing. I've decided that whatever the cause of this is, I will not let fools and beggars determine the fate of my server! I will Simply outlast them all! I mean really, I have a job, it costs like 2% of my paycheck to run a server. Big deal. Eventually I'll get a couple decent players, until then I can just play single player with mcmmo while I wait for people to log on. Sure the "good old days" were better, but leaving the community because you liked it better then only makes it worse for the ones still here.

    Now, a little bit off topic, but does it make sense to have a few 'allied' servers who advertise for each other and bounce players back and forth? Like leave a sign at spawn "Go visit our friends over at BlockCraft Ip: 1.1.1.1:25565" I've been thinking about that one for a while, not sure if it's just completely retarded or actually a good idea.

    I wonder if the player base is slowly declining sometimes. I have this paranoia that most of the original beta players are losing interest in minecraft lately. Then again, 12 year olds screaming for op has always been an issue...

    I prefer gimp2.8 to mspaint. it's all good though. Now MSPaintAdventures, oh, man don't even get me started. Some people take offence at the mention of Andrew hussie and his work.

    Thanks, nice to meet the two of you. it's nice to be back actually, I think this time around I'll start taking the forums more seriously.

    I'm looking to make a survival server with mcmmo, factions, essentials economy, and some other basic stuff. The main attraction is that it has a really neat custom map that I've spent almost a year building and assembling from various map projects of mine. I'm hoping to make a donation system where donations directly impact the new mods and hardware upgrades for the server in the future according to a set of parameters, so people can directly see their impact on the server as a whole. I'm working with two close friends of mine. One of them is providing all of the hardware and networking experience, and he want's this to be a huge corporate server with 500+ people and daily donations. my other friend is a really talented builder, and he wants this to be a small 12 man server with a few trusted people allowed on. So they're at odds a bit. In any case, I'll post the IP and information in the server list on October 7th and see how it turns out.

    Seems like a neat project. I am however working on a similar project with some friends of mine. So i guess that makes you competition, leaving us bitter rivals! Nah, nothing that serious, but i'm curious to see where you end up going with this. Best of luck!
