Ugh, y'know, I seriously hope Windows 10 MC doesn't become the standard and that the Java version remains - there goes Microsoft again trying to take control.

There would be so many problems if the Java version is discontinued, for example (as said before) the game's OSX and Linux compatibility would disintegrate, each and every single MC server would have to close down and restart on the new platform, and in general the entire community of Minecraft would need to shut down and restart from scratch, on a new, unfamiliar, platform.

Sure, Windows 10 is kewl, but Windows 10 Minecraft?
No thanks.

If you read the first post you might gather that I am not.
So: No, I'm not.

Also, I've been extremely busy with other things, so all the renders that I've done will be all I'm going to do - those who didn't receive their renders (even though they were requested) will unfortunately not be done - I apologize, I simply don't have the time.

I use Imgur for previews, and Drive for the real thing.

When you upload to imgur, you get horrible smudges and such on the images because it's a lossy upload service, but on drive, nothing, so I use Imgur to show people what it looks like and Drive to give them a full high quality download link.

/effect <username> 1 <length> <speed strength>

For speed strength, use 1-3 for a small but substantial boost, and use 255 to pretty much teleport to the block obstructing your path (and/or glide off the loaded chunks).

Gosh, this is still going from when it started eh?
I don't personally like resource packs that make Minecraft look like, well, not Minecraft, but I appreciate the effort.

Ah, but I happen to be in the same age range - and I find myself isolated from my age group. I don't know what has happened to the younger generation, but it seems that of late (in a rather broad generation range), the age at which beings are said to 'mature' has often been extended.

The OP's setup is absolutely great. Encore.

I recently got a new PC for rendering - these are da specs.

CPU
Intel Core i7 'Skylake' 6700 @ 3.4 GHz

GPU
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 - 4096 MB GDDR5 RAM

RAM
16 GB Dual Channel DDR4 RAM

Yep, those are the main things - I could safely say I probably have the fastest computer in approximately 20 kilometres.
Now, I'm a renderer, and when you're a renderer, your CPU is to your GPU as your VW is to a Lamborghini - in other words, my GPU renders approximately 6 times faster than my CPU. I happened to get the optimal GPU for rendering, and my computer starts up in approx. 6 seconds, so I'm happy.

P.S. Try CPU-Z (free!) here - it gives a big long list of all your system information, right there for you to brag about.
