Hey, Can you please message me and let me know what happened to the server? Why did it suddenly go offline and the Discord disappear? I thought it was going really well
I have done this for my latest tutorial. I renamed it with .mcworld but it's still classified as a .zip file (so it's .mcworld.zip). Not sure if that matters. If you could test it that would be amazing!
Thank You! Let me check I understand this correctly...
So I have successfully converted one of my worlds from Java to Windows 10 edition and I now have this new folder sitting in my Windows 10 saves directory. When you say convert it into a zip file am I taking the whole folder and placing it in a zip file or just what's in the save folder (i.e. Do I have a bedrock save folder inside a zip file or do I have the CONTENTS of the save folder inside a zip)?
Amazing, thank you so much! I didn't realise potion textures were connected, but I wouldn't mind just applying it to all potions. The active effect idea is really good too. I currently play on Java 1.16.4 with the default textures
I think that would count as a Tool-Assisted Speedrun, since that's something that isn't part of vanilla Minecraft that makes it easier, but I have definitely seen speedruns that use it so I assume it's fine for TA runs
Yeah, if you go in the video descriptions on Youtube, I have put world downloads for each stage in every episode of this tutorial series (and will continue updating them as the series progresses)
I don't know if this is possible with data-packs but could you make one to make a compass point towards the nearest player. I know there are plugins that do this but as some server hosts don't allow you to upload .jar files but do allow JSON files it would be really handy to have a data-pack out there that did this. (btw am I correct that data-packs tend to be JSON files or have I got that wrong?)
