Excuse me? You don't know what you're saying here. Open source means freedom. If there's a bug, so what? You can fix it. Yes, you. You can normally submit these to open source projects (probably not Android though).

Open source usually has less bugs because it's easier to find them etc since everyone has access to the code.

If it's the most personal thing you have, why share data with companies such as Apple and give them control over it? Apple can erase the contents of any iDevice. They can track it. Microsoft can delete files on your Windows 8 PC/laptop. Closed source systems almost always give control to the creator. So, really, how personal is it? It's so personal that only you and Apple can access it.

You get less viruses on iOS because apple CONTROL what you install. On Android, you are FREE to install whatever you want, whether it's malware or not. Just be careful and do NOT thank Apple for taking away your freedom. Well... you're giving it away.

Oh you are excused. Actually i do.
So you think sharing your security system with the world is a good idea... waiting for someone to find their way in... alright its your choice.
You can find bugs a lot faster.... you can also exploit them a lot easier, a coin has two sides.
Apple wont erase your devices, neither will they use your info without your consent... at least not in europe they don't... with all the respect are you a conspiracy nuts of some sort?
You can erase it remotely if you lose it, you can track it if you lose it, which is more than you can do if you lose your android.
It's good that apple has access to some of my device's info, means when i ask for online support they attach the issues to my tracking number and when i go to a store to repair it they know whats going on. the issue is that google won't access your phone, strangers with doubtful intentions will.

You wanna talk to me about freedom? well then why is it that google creates a profile on you with every thing you search, links all your google services accounts without your knowledge or consent and builds a database with your information? Why did 6 countries dropped a lawsuit back in 2012 for privacy? why did the Dutch threaten Google with fine over privacy policy just a month ago?

I guess "your freedom" can come back to bite you in the ass huh?

I already went off topic here sorry about that, i had to respond

The thing with android is that its open source, there are always gonna be viruses. And the worst is that all it takes is a web popup on the wrong page and you got a virus without knowing it, not to mention the lack of security on nfc communication... As i said above in terms of customisation, android is a lot easier but when it comes to security you have to go with iOS or windows phone, as well as when it comes to design you go for iOS, the interfaces are already so neat and clean that you don't need to customize it much, of course everyone has their own taste.

I do agree that lollipop is a step in the right direction when it comes both to security and design, but still not enough to make me buy an android. The phone is the most personal device we have, text messages, numbers, emails, social network accounts, sensitive personal data that android fails to keep safe if you are not careful.
Perhaps android is a bit too easy to customize, so easy that anyone can get into your phone, even if you don't want them to.

And the new ios8 functionalities?! hell i can close my blinds with my phone now, as well as begin to do something on the phone, and pick up where i left of on the computer, with no apps and crap.

If you never tried an iOS device you shouldn't say you prefer something else, you just don't know, never experienced the other side of the coin. As a college student that uses the phone intensively i rather have an iphone which performance and response are far better, depends from android to android i know but still, every time i use an android it just fells like the os is fragile, breaks, takes a while to respond... it varies from phone to phone, but i rather have my stuff safe

    And then come the haters:
    mrvideogaming1
You can't get viruses on Windows or android...

    And santa is real...
You can get viruses everywhere, some just have better security systems and measures.

Imo the customisation is a matter of knowing and having the right tools, i got my iOS customised to fit my needs, (Ex: speak out notifications and few other app modifications)
The thing is some iOS apps come packed with "widgets" that change your notification center and stuff, while on android you have to get zooper widget going along with launchers and a bunch of crap that may slow your phone's response time in some cases (not to mention the safety of google play market...).

I do agree that it is much easier to have a "custom phone" with android but at what cost?
I can rest assured that my phone is still safe with every app install and modification i make, and that all functions will work as expected, that my phone's performance will remain the same.

    iOS takes my vote

Without new item introductions the game would become boring progressively and the player loss would be worse... i mean its gotta evolve in some way. I do agree with you its more complex now than on 1.2.4, but you also have better and more accurate buildings because of these new item and logic introductions in the game. Its still very simple, i mean, if you been playing for a while you got used to the changes as they were implemented. 1.8 may be a big update with loads of new stuff but in a month it will all seem very logical and intuitive to you.
The minecraft logic is still there, you just have more tools and items at your disposal.

It's nice, try using after effects to animate instead (it has some of the photoshop functionalities so you can design non complex logos in there too) = better output quality and functionalities.
For a first banner, its pretty good! keep it up:)

NotJustHumanI've been searching the shops of pixelmon servers and some has shiny conversions, size and nature changes.

My question is how to people do these things? there aren't in-game commands that can do that. So do server owners change something in the server player files or something?

Its a side-mod that basically allows users to change table values and properties directly through in game commands, therefore you can use your shop auto-commands to give it to players as they donate. Unlike Ev's and Iv's side-mod i don't think this one is public, you have to develop a system of your own to do it.

I can tell you that i charge my clients over 3 zeros for a website... not cheap indeed.
I'll pick up a point stated above, don't create a server just because you feel like owning a server. Thats why there are thousands and thousands of empty minecraft servers around, you have to actually be better and introduce new, different and addictive game logics regarding player experience.
This guy above just gave you some golden tips in disguise, make sure you read the whole post carefully and don't get mad, he just told you the truth.
What makes your server different from somebody else's? and why should people join you? You Have to be able to answer those 2 questions.
I myself am getting ready to launch a pixelmon server soon and i got a very clear answer to both.

Use the pixelmon forums for help and more detailed information on the mod capabilities, about what you can do with it, the staff is there to help you with that as well... There is a pixelmon owners Skype group so that you can keep up with whats happening on other servers, and get help with your server if needed...

    Good luck!
