  I am obsessed with pastels, they certainly are so fun to work n’ create with. You definitely succeeded with vibrancy of this piece, it’s a wonderful lively vibe and yes always gotta love designs/outfits with ties to character lore!
  
  :DD It’s really enjoyable when a piece of art clearly has lots of work and thought into it! Poses are probably my favourite part when it comes to art of characters, you can fit so much about them without having to use lots of words!
  
  Definitely a good idea, it’s not unheard of having patches in designs and outfits but it’s not very common, so it’s always delightful when people do include them!
  
  
  
  And yw <3 I always think that an artist should know the appreciation for details in their art, whenever someone spots out a little things in my skins it makes me so happy that they’ve been noticed!

  pastels are by far my favorite colors to work with, and i really wanted a nice pop and vibrant vibe for this piece- my character Chris (right) almost always wears a key necklace since it's part of his lore lol
  
  Jayce (left) also has a knack for accessories as they both are the most eccentric of my ocs, i'm glad i got that message across in my art !
  
  i remember thinking to myself "what should i add to spice their jackets up? ah yes, patches " definitely a decision i don't regret! again tysm for your kind words and observations :)

  I haven’t quite gotten good at drawing people, so I’m not the best at drawing hair atm, but I always go crazy seeing it in others people’s art because you can really go ham on all the curls and swirls in it, and they’re just so pretty to look at!

  You really did a great job at getting his character across, and ofc cool capes are gloves are a MUST to lots of fantasy outfits!
  
  And :o fantastic! Writing lore and arcs for characters is really fun, especially analysing it. :D
  
  its an amazing piece!
  
  (Lavender is an S+ tier colour and nothing can change that)
  And they do seem fun to draw. Not only can butterflies make a piece so much more interesting and cool, you can also make up fantastical and crazy designs for their wings!

  (yes he is indeed a pirate, my d&d character :D) when i designed him, i was really going for a ruggedy ex-traveler look, who's too broke to afford new clothing (he stole p much anything he owns) but constantly cleans the ones he wears despite the scuffs and tears. capes and gloves are really fun to add to any fantasy design imo so i naturally had to haha! i could go on about the meaning of his pose and expression bc of his story arc (that has yet to be finished) lol :')

  I COULD STARE AT IT FOR AGES ITS AMAZING
  
  FIRST OFF, the first one
  YESSS PIRATE (if that’s a pirate idk lol) AND ALL 👏 THE 👏 DETAILS 👏 the sorta scruffed up elbow and tear in the cape,
  the shine of the eyes THEY’RE ALL FANTASTIC I just am SO IN LOVE WITH THE DESIGN AND OUTFIT??? the striped shirt n’ corset, the green gem with lighter red feathers are a nice pop of colour (not the mention the SHADING of the feathers?? I love the small lighting on the edge of each of them) and just you gotta love capes and gloves.
  AND THEN, THEN, the shirt folds on the shirt, then flowy bushy ponytail are both drawn so well and look so natural!!
  the pose TOO IS JUST EVERYTHING
  
  now the second one hoo boy
  I CAN NOT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS, the design is clean and so pretty :OO I love lavender it’s my favourite colour and THIS 💜💜💜💜💜💜
  i always adore art with no/little lineart and I just am amazed, in awe. The gradient on the hair is the coolest thing ever, it’s a simple and nice hairstyle and the small strand/flicks make it look so complete, AND THE BUTTERFLIES TOO THEY COMPLIMENT THE CHARACTER SO WELL AND THE WAY YOU INCORPORATED THEM INTO THE DESIGN TOO AAAAFKGHSKFGAJLGJH

  I also agree, I haven’t done it recently, but making skins that have corsets in their designs are so fun!
  
  And there’s always that one thing which is hard to make in any creative hobby/activity. Many and most instruments are quite detailed irl so understandable that they’re tricky lol.

  ah, the first one sprung into my head as simply "i want to draw myself (a vague representation) as a cottagecore witch with a tiny dragon pet" and thus sprung this piece.
