I think the thing is many people use Skype in their day to day lives with friends and family, interviews etc etc so already have it installed on their system.

Unlike many other games a lot of the players in Minecraft may not be that serious about gaming and for many it is the only game they play, e.g. when they want to just relax and chill out for a second, therefore I believe that Minecraft players are less inclined to want to install other services such as TS, Mumble, Steam etc obviously this is not referring to the whole Minecraft community as many have these services. However Skype is a multi platform widely recognised and used service which is easy to install and set up and for this reason I believe its the most used service for MC.

The problem is standing out why would they join your hub rather than one of the larger hubs with loads of players and games going on all the time, if you can answer that question and feel confident then I am sure you will be able to build a player base and expand, however if you are just doing the same thing as the large hub servers but not quite as well then I think you are wasting your time.

Thank you for the clarification, I can tell you that I am using a new 27" iMac and have no problems with the layout of the website on any of my browsers (Chrome / Firefox / Safari)

I presume this will be a HTML5 / CSS3 issue, it may have looked like a minor change to the user in terms of the site but under the hood as it were its possible that PMC underwent some quite major changes in how it was structured. Unfortunately the problem with much of the latest code is that its implemented differently within different browsers as there is no specific rules for much of it. If PMC did not change its code its also possible that with the latest browser update which many of you are saying you conducted, changed the way in which the browser interprets a certain element which can cause the layout of pages to be messed about.

CreeperDominator17So, In my bungeecord server, my factions spawn lags so bad at times you can't even move. Everywhere else it does not lag that bad. It has 5 GBs of ram and 31 plugins. I have tried a lot and can not figure out WHY it is lagging so bad! Please help me and give me any suggestions.

Is this for all players at spawn or just when new players are joining they lag out ?

Can everyone not build or only a certain rank?

Based on the limited information, this probably has nothing to do with the permissions that you've posted above, this could be to do with the essentials anti build which is set in the configuration file of essentials

This console post is a mess I agree with Z645 you should have a clean sweep of the plugins and get them working one by one and build up the server again that way it will become a lot more manageable and you will be able to understand when things aren't working where to look much better

If you enjoy doing it then it doesn't matter don't quit, If on the other hand you find it a chore to turn out videos then maybe its not for you. You will never be successful in something in which you don't enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback I am going to change the banner image of the site but the background I think is actually quite nice clean and simple but maybe others will disagree....
