*tips fedora* thing is, factually PC's will always outperform "next-gen" consoles. Hell, the GTX 6 series (cheap GPU cards) will outperform a PS4/Xbox 3. Anyone that wants to debate saying how console is better because "exclusives" or "controllers" can jog off, because PC has far more exclusives than PS4/XB3/Wii U and past gen devices COMBINED. Also, controllers will work with PC, whether it's a next gen or before. A little thing called compatibility drivers and wireless/wired USB stations are available.

but the more platforms the game is on, the more serious it is
Lol serious? So I can't take Garry's mod or even ARMA as serious games because they're popular exclusives? rad logic
And developers who develop for consoles are bloody holding back so much on technology that most if not all PC gamers have. Games are made on (at best) dual core systems on a cheap GPU and DDR5 ram. Most computers have 8GB DDR3 ram sticks and good Nvidia/GIGABYTE/AMD GPU's that WELL outperform and have more potential for better games and rendering and whatnot. So don't tell me that consoles are not a problem, because they are.
tldr: consoles are cancer in a technical/future PoV, but hey people can play what they want
