djmonrush[123]You have many points.
Minecraft will lose a lot of publicity because of how laggy it is now hopefully they will develop a cure for this though.
Also the fact that you have to buy a server for anything above 1.7 will kill it slightly. Friends will be forced to buy realms so I guess notch is now a god digger?
But seriously its not the end people will continue to buy it but the people at mojang are going to have to relize that trying to monopolize the servers will cause huge problems.
Although the new updates are awesome I just wished spigot and bukkit still had there servers being updated and the lag was minimal
Azie[/quote]AzieSince much of your post is about "lag", I hope you know that RAM isn't the only thing that determines how well Minecraft runs. Your Minecraft shouldn't be using 6GB of RAM, so I really don't understand why you have that much allocated...
actually my game uses it all up and i have nothing else open

Can you screenshot your F3 menu in-game? I think it shows your RAM usage and current total percentage used out of your allocated RAM.
GaryFreakinOAK‣MInecraft 1.8 is really laggy even with a decent computer.
*I get major lagspikes every few seconds even with 6GB of RAM set for mincraft.*
You may have just put too much RAM aside for Minecraft.
