Im sick of all this bigotry. If you are intending to post some ridiculous homophobic/transphobic nonsense kindly just submit a ticket asking for your account to be deleted. I just cried for an hour straight... I just rewatched this movie and then searched franticly for this song. Something inside me broke. I loved this movie when I was a kid. I also had a huge crush on Cody (which is wild bc he is a penguin but whatever) I forgot how moving this movie is. It had no business hitting so deep. Rewatching it made me feel like I let down the younger version of myself. She was so full of wonder and happiness and I have lost so much of that by growing up. I miss her but I know she is gone forever and it's time that I move on and accept I am not the same person I was 10 years ago. It's like mourning the death of someone who never died. I also realized how much my grandpa reminds me of Big Z and I am so thankful to have him in my life as a role model. He is always giving me advice and helping me when I need it. If you have never seen it or haven't see it in a while, I HIGHLY recommend watching it. It's free on youtube with ads.

Something that’s helped me, weirdly enough, is being ok with the fact that I’m upset.
If you’re tired, then rest. If you’re sad, then cry. If you’re frustrated, then don’t bottle it up; let it out however you need to, so long as everyone (including yourself) is safe when you do it. When your body is crying out, it’s good to at least listen to what it’s trying to say.
If you’re bored, what do you enjoy doing? Try doing something unusual with it. For me, I take walks in my neighborhood, going down roads and lanes I haven’t really visited that often; I make my path completely unpredictable so as to surprise myself. There’s something refreshing about seeing the same things from new angles.

What I usually do is I look up an easy art or painting tutorial on YouTube or something, and try using the things around me (Soaking colored construction paper in water and using it as watercolor, using clay to add dimension) and just completely stylize it in a goofy kind of way :)
