This song is the seventh track in a concept album about the rise and fall of the Swedish Empire. Specifically, it's about the crowning of Charles XII and the Great Northern War. Now, one of the cool things about this album is that the band recorded it in both English and Swedish, and I've included both versions of the chorus and the videos in this post. (Also, this post was perfectly timed, since the band is celebrating a different album of theirs each month for their 25th anniversary, and yesterday marked the beginning of Carolus Rex's month.)

Actually, it just took a lot of damage in the most recent one and is remembered as the country that often disappeares.
The outcome of the First World War was really good for Poland, even though it didn't participate as it didn't exist as a country back then.

It was a strange conflict, Sweden and Russia fought on territory of an uninvolved country (Poland) whose king didn't care that his country is being destroyed
