Here's a bit of help, it might be useful or it might not but I'll just give a piece of advice:

If you ever want to do shading, it would be best to make a palette on the side of the skin first, pretty much just a strip of what colour you want to use mainly from the lightest shade to the darkest. That way you have a reference to what you can shade.

Another technique is to start with the base coat of what you're shading with the darkest shade, and gradually make a sort of circle, elipse or just work your way out with the colours with the brightest in the middle, gradually getting darker.

Might not help, but just a food for thought

If this thing is still alive, could you possibly make a German officer skin with a brown gas mask on and blonde hair?

What skin do you want: a German Officer
Extra: well, the gas mask. Also, a few grenades on the sides of the belt
Head: German SS officer hat, and a gas mask
Body: Gray uniform, with brass buttons.
Right Arm: Same colour as uniform, with darker gray gloves.
Left Arm: Same as right
Right Leg: Same colour as uniform, with black boots
Left Leg: Same as right

Head: blonde hair, with a gas mask on
Front Body: Trench coat-like, a black belt and with light gray buttons
Back Body: Just the basic details on the back
Arms: Same colour as body, but with darker gray gloves
Legs: once again, same colour but with som mud splatters.
Footwear: Black boots
Props: I guess the gas mask I already mentioned?
Hat: Waffen SS officer's hat

Can I get a sort of German Officer skin?

Body: German trench coat, with slightly muddy clothing.
Arms: same colour as uniform, with gray gloves
Legs: same colour as the uniform, with black boots
