Salutations my peers from minecraft! I am proud to present to you my application, whether it is horrible, or amazing. My name is Alistar Moy, and I am 13, a young age full of potential. I have enjoyed many minecraft servers and their communities, and I hope that any who is currently reading this will understand and consider my application. I have developed a constructive list to why I should become part of the staff team. I think as myself as someone with lots of potential. I ponder and examine over things before actually doing them, and I am quite conscious, which is why you should consider this application. I am modest, and generally not that aggressive. I generally think of myself as nice and accepting of others, though I get easily offended by those who choose to use profanity against me. I have a kind personality, and I think that as part of the staff I will improve all of these skills drastically.
Whenever I build something, I always aim to improve my builds each time and to achieve above and beyond. I tend to think of myself as a good builder, and I am always there to help others as well. With my building skills, I can help make the server a better place by building on it and making hunger games maps, survival essentials, and other necessities that will certainly improve and benefit the server. I am also offering building techniques to others in the community, especially newcomers, so that they may also make the server prosper without my assistance. I am bound to improve the server in many different ways. I seek out the positives and think optimistically, rather than pessimistically.
I do not sought to prevail over the server, but to benefit it as a whole, and I will improve the server to my greatest effort and extent. I will responsibly take the initiative and time to go through everything, and to help make the server a better place by enforcing the rules accordingly and without stress. Another reason why you should consider this application is because I have in depth moderating experience and I can deal with people, generally better than other Moderators+. I am a Co-founder on 5 servers, yet I shall pass on my skills from these servers onto the minecraft Server. I am not saying that I have abandoned my servers; I am saying that the owner has told me to spread my skills somewhere else, where my full potential will shine. I generally think that I hold great moderating skills, especially considering the story I had told you prior to this sentence. I essentially find the best solution to several problems dealing with unwilling players. I wouldn’t ban straight away, for only a bad moderator would do such a thing. I would seek out the best solution, one that actually BENEFITS the whole community, and not just a few people. I generally give out warnings in a professional and nice manner. But if the person refuses, even after my great persuasion skills, then he will have to be kicked, or even banned. I will promise to moderate the buildings that others wish to not have griefed. During my moderating experience, others have considered me as one of the nice administrators, and I am thankful of this skill that others fail to achieve. I have honed my leadership skills, and have yet to improve it, and I will drastically guild others to success and for the server to go above and beyond. My moderating strategies even persuade those who have done wrong to actually stay longer on the server than expected by other moderators. I am able to change peoples’ minds, and persuade them to do better, even if they have done horrible things. When encountered with someone who swears or spams, these are the steps I will do to ensure that the rules are followed accordingly and justice has been brought:
-If they begin to swear, there will be a hefty warning, also introduced with persuasion skills and niceness and honesty.
-The second warning will introduce a more conversational encounter rather than a straight kick. I will ensure that he understands that what he is doing is wrong, and that I will tell him all the positive outlooks on what he is doing, and also the negative things that could happen to him, this step is very strenuous and will hopefully show him what to do and how to behave in accordance to the rules.
-The third warning is a bit more serious, maybe there may not be a third warning if he purposefully does it to anger others. At this stage, I will introduce to him fear factors, and if he doesn’t listen, I will mute him.
Steps when encountered with a griefer/abuser:
-Steps 1 and 2 will be given together at once, and in a serious and professionalized manner. I will make sure that the person can talk, which is a mistake that most moderators fail to understand. If they cannot talk, or if they refuse to talk, then it may be a bot, or a little kid, who does not understand, and I must ensure that he/she knows that what he/she is doing is wrong.
-If it continues, another very strict warning will be given out, and they may be frozen for a short period of time, they will HAVE to learn their lesson.
-The next step is the when I give out a final statement of punishment, and they will be temp banned, depending on how serious the grief/abuse may be. If they come on again and continue, then they will be banned.
All of the following steps may also have a kick in it, depending on how serious the crime is. Everyone must obey the rules accordingly, and if they do not follow, then I will have to teach them, and if they refuse, then they will have to leave the premises of the sever in a professionalized manner.
I will always with my whole dedication guard and moderate the server. And I promise to never disobey the rules in any manner possible. I always follow rules, and influence a happy and positive atmosphere. I generally remain active not only on the server, but also on the forums as well; therefore I can get an idea of what is happening on the server and the community as well. I always advertise on the Minecraft Forums, Mineshafter, some YouTube places, online social networking groups, peers from my school and everywhere on the web where possible. I also vote for the server every day. Whenever I build, write or do anything in life, I will always attempt to achieve the highest. I have already begun to make several builds for the server itself, such as Hunger Games maps and other towers and cool things. I take every single bit of information into consideration, and examine it greatly to actually utilize it into beneficial effects. I would never take advantage of the server and its commands, because as I imply it again, I am here to benefit the community. I consider myself as one who is very imaginative, and one who will always generate ideas to benefit the server.
My ideas are always fresh, and unlike other people, I have done research on how to improve a server and gain popularity. I am also VERY familiar with the commands and I can learn quite fast. I am very dedicated and I am very experienced with world edit commands, and moderating commands. My disadvantages are close to none, yet I have tried my best to counteract it.
Why choose me rather than other applicants? You should choose me from other applicants because I actually achieve my highest and to my greatest potential. I have great leadership skills, and I have used my several life skills to my advantage. I try to make the server as fun as possible.
