Help/JavaEdition Trying to setup...something.

Either one, just something I can have some control over what is going on. I'm not planning on managing a bunch of people with it.

I'll see if I can get it setup with Spigot. I have ever used it, but if it is like Bukkit then it should not be to difficult. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks Rawwk! Installing the mods wasn't too difficult from what I remember, nor was setting up all the permissions. Since Bukkit is no longer being supported do you have any idea of a server option that has similar mods for permissions and stuff?

And on that note, I am going to leave.

It seems if you complain about the pm system being down, you are told to pm the admins and your thread is locked -_-

If you create a thread to report similar account pm issues, your thread is locked and you are called a minimod -_-

I hope everyone here has a wonderful time with this site, and its poor moderation of its members!

You are probably going to get a lot of suggestions on the "tons of tutorials" that are scattered around the net, so I wont say anything in that regard.

What I would suggest is switching over, and starting out with Eclipse IDE. More people are using it, and you will likely find more help that way.

Also, it really help to post in spoilers, your code and the errors that you are running into in order to get better clarification on exactly how to help you.

You probably missed this, but the user is unable to create new pm's...the same as me. I had a user say the same thing as you on my thread, without catching that new pm's cannot be created.

I have send Paril a reply about the pm issue, as I too have been getting the same message since my temp ban, yet cannot send out any new pm's.

I know this has something to do with the code for trying to eliminate the spam users, yet it seems there is some sort of glitch.

At the bottom there is a subscribe to topic, and a bookmark topic, yet neither option will have this post show up on the main page.

Just an idea if you are wanting ideas for skins - get together with a modeler and make some skins for new models.

Sorry ladies and gents, but that is not what I am trying to explain.

I do know about the view your posts that is under the forums link.

What I am trying to explain is a section, on the main page, that a user can see of topics they have participated in.

Yes, this is similar to the view your posts, but it would be on the main page.

Sort of like how you have a mods link, yet have a list of the most recent mods.

Also like how you have a projects link, yet have a list of the most recent projects.

Similar to how you have a blogs link, yet have a list of the most recent blogs.

Likewise how you have a skins link, yet have a list of the most recent skins.

Alternatively like how you have a texture packs link, yet have a list of the most recent texture packs.

Subsequently to how you have a servers link, yet have a list of the most recent servers.

• Favoritism.
• Discrimination - age or otherwise.
• Mysterious account issues.
• Illogical explanations.
• Non-specific account bans.
• Members who apparently do not read the entire post they are jumping on someone about.
• Members who resort to profanity to express their valued opinion.
• Why have rules when not every member is required to abide by them and the warning/ban process is selective...
• When members have been allowed to temporarily break the rules due to account issues, other members deciding that getting hateful will fix the problem.
• Members who tell other members that something is illegal, then proceed with insults when proof is requested.
• Members who get outright ill when requested to not post their age on public forums - it IS just a request...

Suggestion - Report comments. Profanity and telling people they are going to jail should not be allowed, even in the comments.

Just respect people whether or not they wish to use it. No one is breaking any laws, and PMC is not running low on funds.

How can you SEE anything from that post? The only thing you can do is infer from what I have implied. Can you infer as to what I am implying?

I dislike all the whining users that complain about pointless crap instead of formulating some really good suggestions and proposing them in the proper forum.
